"Better hands than DJ"

Call me when he catches 80 balls in a season. DJ is one of the best receiving backs in the league. Your boy hasn't played a snap in the NFL.

Lots of problems on this team that aren't at RB.

There's no way those guys were best players available. Keim reaches to fill needs all the time.

Cooper was considered the safest pick in the draft he was supposed to be a plug and play all pro for 10 years. It didn't pan out but he was very highly thought of coming out.

Nikklas was part of the best TE class in years it was thought Ebron, Seferan-Jenkins, Amaro, Nikklas guess what, they all sucked. Ebron just now is starting to produce and not for the team that drafted him

My hope/wish for the 2nd round is that trade back and pick up an additional pick and select a CB and a TE.

Agree, the first pick in the 2nd round will be worth something as some first round projected players will have dropped.

they weren't total reaches, but kinda-reachy

Cooper was considered a first rounder but second to Chance Warmack at his postion -- and made a late move up the boards. Niklas was also kinda early --

Coopers year was a terrible draft, so its not like lots of guys after him really worked out, so no big deal.

Niklas however --- Davante Adams went the pick after. Allen Robinson, Jimmy Garrapolo, Jarvis Landry, Justin Britt all went in the second after Niklas. Heck, the next two TEs taken -- CJ Fiedorowicz and Richard Rogers turned out better. Niklas was a bad miss.

we have DJ and Edmonds, if we draft a high choice RB Keim should lose his job.

Oh gee yeah! Lets draft this guy early and shore up a team strength! He must be so good we wont even need blockers...or anyone else to catch the ball!!!

I get it but now your talking about the 5th and 6th tight ends taken in the draft. It's a crap shoot.

48 CAREER catches in college. DJ has had an 80 catch season. This is a dumb statement to make at this point in time, especially since there is no way to prove it.

Are we watching the same DJ? He DID NOT look the same this season. I do not feel comfortable with Edmonds stepping in god forbid DJ goes down. Jacobs is a complete RB--something we don't have. Read the article. We need as many versatile playmakers as possible. The defense will be much better just having Wilks and Holcomb out of here.

Jacobs reminds me of MJD. He’s going to be good but I don’t see a scenario where he would fall to us unless we trade out of the first pick and pick up a bunch of extra picks.

Fingers crossed it was a scheme issue last year because DJ's season and his runs were very uninspiring. He ran scared.

RB is not a position of need, nor is a position of value...as long as you can pull a CJ Anderson off the trash heap, this is NOT a need... it's a nice to have.

As far as I am concerned, we have our franchise RB and our QB (I am not ready to throw the towel in on Rosen and am willing to let C2K work his magic)...we have an excellent opportunity with our draft position, picks, and money for FAs, we can turn this around, but we cannot waste picks on flights of fantasy.

We need to attack premium positions...That is why Bosa is a no-brainer...

I literally think RB is the deepest position on our roster.

This year DJ will be reclaiming his throne as the best all around RB in the league.
