Nonsense. Starting 4-0 with a bunch of squeakers and then falling apart isn't that big a deal. Starting 9-1, losing out, and missing the playoffs could be a historic collapse.
I don't think it's going to happen, and I think that the home-field advantage at the Nest is more valuable than Andre Ellington at 70%, but going from 9-1 to out of the playoffs would be an epic disaster.
agreed. we were talking about HFA throughout the Super Bowl a couple weeks ago. Now, we're talking about possibly missing the playoffs entirely. That's a much bigger collapse then playing well the first quarter of the season.
I'm still hoping we squeak out a couple more Ws. In fact, I just booked a ticket to fly to New Orleans for work LATE on Sunday night of wild card weekend banking on us playing that week and not wanting to miss it. might be wishful thinking, but until we're out, I'm gonna keep that attitude.
