Well then it doesn't look good for Billy then. He's only beat that percentage one year in his career, his rookie year, and his career percentage is 3% less.
Check their broken downs stats based on field goals per 10 yards % career:
1-19 yards Gramatica 1-1 100%, Bryant 2-2 100%
20-29 yards Gramatica 14-15 93.3%, Bryant 10-11 90.9%
30-39 yards Gramatica 7-8 87.5%, Bryant 18-24 75%
40-49 yards Gramatica 10-15 66.7%, Bryant 7-9 77.8%
50+ yards Gramatica 2-6 33.3%, Bryant 0-0
take the 50+ out of the stats and they end up overall:
Gramatica 32-39 82%, Bryant 37/46 80.4%, slight edge to Gramatica
Kick Off's Gramatica had 125 with 8 touchbacks or 6.4% with only 1 returned for a TD, return average of 22.9 yards
Kick Off's Bryant had 114 with 4 touchbacks or 3.5% with only no returned for a TD, return average of 21.8 yards.
They both averaged kicking the ball 60.4 yards each kickoff which means on average the opposing team will recieve the ball on the 4 and a half yard line.
Obviously these are pretty close stats, Gramatica appears to be a little better inside the 40, but bryant looks like he might be better outside the 40, they are pretty much dead even on kickoffs. I am guessing it will come down to "CLUTCH" kicking, who is better under pressure? Since I am not a big NYG fan I have no idea how Bryant does under pressure, I know Billy is pretty solid thos, had a pretty good percentage when it game to game winning FG attempts.
