It's probably more politically correct to do JP4 than State of Fear, but I can tell you which movie I'd rather see, and it doesn't involve dinosaurs.

You'd never see State of Fear made into a movie. Not in a billion years. Steps on too many beliefs in Hollywood. Besides, the cannibalism scene would be pretty creepy.

The first time they dramatically deviated from Crichton's books the result was not good. But they've had years to get it right so hopefully they have a good script this time.

I can't imagine what they can possibly do that's new, they already had the dinos leave the island and eat people in San Diego.

They had taken some really dumb liberties with this franchise but when Sam Neil starting "talking" to the raptors it was elevated to absurd-ism. That scene made me laugh pretty hard. The Raptors should have had subtitles.

"Well, he gave us the egg back... what should we do?"

"Eat him!"

"Nah, man he seems cool"

"Well, Im hungry, lets get out of here"

Part one was good, didnt care for the rest.

Warts and all, I liked them all. There was a huge drop-off following the first JP but for those of us that like to watch dinosaurs eat people, we have little else to fall back on.

I just want an entertaining movie. I don't expect it to be ground breaking or Oscar worthy. Just make it worth my time please is all I ask. I have no problem plunking down money for a popcorn movie. I just don't want to see a SyFy Channel worthy Dino movie on steroids.

The first movie holds a special place in my heart, so nothing comes close to that.

The second had a more "epic" feel to it and seemed overbloated and was full of "what the...?" moments (like Jeff Goldblum's daughter).

I liked the third one for what it was--a straight-up action flick with dinosaurs. One of the nice things about the first movie is the philosophical discussion about bringing dinosaurs back into the world--the third movie was a straight rescue flick. And I thought it was pretty good for what it was.

Cautiously optimistic for part 4.

The wow factor for the first one can't be denied. Not only had there never been dinos on screen like that before but I remember that was the rollout of digital sound. I remember I was one of the few people that didn't see it opening weekend. I had to listen to my friends all week. LOL.

Also, I remember how unprepared the theaters were for the new digital sound. I remember I was in a theater next door and when the T-REX was stomping and yelling you could feel the bass and hear the scream in our theater. Some of my friends made similar comments when they had seen a movie next to that one. LOL.

Universal Pictures today announced that "Jurassic Park 4" has been retitled Jurassic World and that the film will be released in 3D on Friday, June 12, 2015.

Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking "Jurassic Park" series. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.

Jurassic World will be shot in 3D.

Just rented Jurassic Park for the kids to watch this weekend. First time they have seen it. Surprisingly I still thought it was a very good movie and the kids enjoyed it. Never was a fan of the other two though.

FWIW, Batman Returns, released in 1992 (JP was 1993) was the first to use digital sound.

I know.... picky, picky..... ;)

I only heard of Bryce Dallas Howard(Ron Howard's daughter who was in The Village and who played Gwen Stacy in Spiderman III) and Vincent D'Onofrio. He used to be on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and played Pvt. Pyle in Full Metal Jacket.

Not a fan of trailers for trailers, but I'll forgive it this time, because I'm stoked for this.

I have wanted them to return to Isla Nublar since the first sequel. Now if only they can tell me what happened to that fake Shaving Creme can. :D
