and that is exactly what he does and has been doing. he will say there is something going on or that the players don't like green, but he never says who what where or when. He is basically slandering the team when he does stuff like that.

at this point it really is pointless, because he will always have an excuse..so...

a buddy of mine used to work for a certain big 4 local sports franchise. He'd tell me a couple things off the record, but I kept it under my hat because i didn't want to endanger him and betray the trust.
If you're a big fan of a team, it can be hard to NOT blab insider stuff, but i never would say "I know stuff - can't tell you, though" - that's just button pushing....

if he wants to bash the cards and the team there are plenty of other stations... not being paid by the cardinals to host their games and offer other cardinal related programming.

I would like to ask though..... would you tend to lean towards the negative line of thinking ( jurecki) or would your take on the cards organization take a more positive slant.

I specifically mean as how DG relates to his players and the organization.

Jurecki gets dumber everyday. I think all logic has passed him by, and all we can hope for is somebody puching him (breaking his jaw). So that his mouth can get wired shut for about 4 months and we won't have to put up with his trash until after the season. When (in fact) we will be a competetive team, and he will have no choice but to eat crow, and be more positive.

I am glad that I am no longer there to listen to Jurecki every day. I thought that guy was idiot even before I left AZ. Now, I get to listen to Yankee talk all day long on NY sports radio - I am getting really sick of that.

Jurecki is a talk show host. His job is to give opinions, and of course in turn, generate interest in his talk show.

He does a good job, that doesn't mean I agree with him, but I'm listening.

The bottom line in media though is you have to protect your sources and sometimes you can't bring things out at a certain time.

That brings up an interesting thought. Maybe the Cardinals really don't mind Jurecki railing on Green. Both Green and Jurecki are at the very least stirring up interest in the Cardinals. If the Cardinals really did feel strongly against Jurecki would Pendergast be appearing on the show?

ok so the kdus pays the cards to be the flagship station.... ( i will go with that )

But to say that all jurecki is doing is questioning the moves is a farce. He is not being objective in his criticism of the team. Does he have to be? I don't know, but I would think that it would make for better talk than "they stink" and denny is the reason why. there are plenty of reasons this team is losing not just because of the coach.

Should he kiss their butts? no, but if he is so critical of them, then ask the tough questions when he interviews players and coaches, which he never does.

It isnt questioning a team (and again I dont hear this so I could be waaaay off) but its his way of ripping the team, the moves, DG and claiming it came from inside sources he cannot reveal. If thats how you want to play the game just say it is your opinion and unless you can reveal your source dont bring it up. Its quite simple.

What you guys forget is Jurecki has suffered through the same crap that we all have with this team except he has been front and center in it. He started covering the team back when Buddy Ryan was the coach and he has seen the coaching changes at every step. He doesn't buy into what Green's doing and he hasn't seen anything out of this team as of yet. You all act as if the team is 3-0 not 0-3. The fact is the offense has looked bad and Green's specialty is suppose to be offense. The bottom line is this team is still bad and the only bright spot thus far has been the defensive back field.
