And you know they have not been willing up to this point ?
And do you know they have? Of course not.\
Let's look at the situation logically here.
1. Every journalist both locally and nationally and print or otherwise that have reported on this matter have said that the ownership group limited the budget on assistant coaches. Now assuming that all these guys simply did not make this up which you cannot do legally as a print journalist, I put this as a strike in the column against the Bidwills.
2. Green who hired experienced former OC's and DC's in Minnesota to run his units or guys who worked their way up in his system. Now all of a sudden when he gets to Arizona he grabs guys with no playcalling experience from outside his coaching tree. I suppose we can assume Denny all of a sudden changes the same method he has coached for over twenty years, but most people would find that hard to believe.
3. The Bidwillian repuation for underpaying assistant coaches. We have not hired an offensive coordinator with pro coordinating experience since Marc Trestman. We have not hired a defensive coordinator with pro coordinating experience since before Buddy Ryan. And this is a team that shuffles through assistants on an annual basis. Now this could be merely a coincidence, but when you look around the league and you see no such track record about any such team in the league you can only deduce that someone is limiting the spending on assistant coaches.
But you could be right, considering we will never be able to truly "prove" that the Bidwills are cheap with their assistant coaches. You can only look at the situatin and weigh all the factors to come up with an opinion, one that unfortunately for you paints a poor picture of Bidwill hiring practices.
