"touches" so it includes passes but either way, the more juke the better. I am assuming he has added weight and strength for BA to be comfortable making comments like this.

if he can take the pounding, we'll have a Lamar Charles on our team which will only make this offense more dangerous.

man...this O FINALLY has a ton of weapons and speed. so stoked to see how much the offense improves this season.

I expect about 1/3 of his touches are passes. No way he gets over 400 carries

He has all the natural tools to be great at this game! There have been many small RB's in this game. Some super stars that managed to last many years. I'm hoping we have a great Cardinal by the tail. Stay healthy Juke!

I think Arians wants use him a little like how Marshall Faulk was used during most of his career. Might get somewhere around 250-300 carries (a lot of those being outside the tackles) and 60-80 receptions (a mix of screens and routes both out of the backfield and lined up at receiver).

Bottom line is regardless how many touches Juke gets it is almost a certainty that a high percentage of those touches will be out in space and on the perimeter of the defense where he is less likely to get gang tackled and stuck at the bottom of a pile (full of fatties) where a lot of injuries (leg injuries in particular) happen.

He aint getting 20 hand offs per game but I hope he gets 15 touches per game, 20 sometimes.

I agree he rarely if ever gets 20 hand offs.

Exactly. And he isn't getting 5 receptions per game either

Now I think he may get at least 5 receptions per game. BA raves about his route running and receiving skills and getting Juke the ball out in space will create so huge chunk plays.

Did he bulk up?doesnt seem from pics.

BA said he added 5lbs (IIRC it could have been 10lbs) of good weight.

I'd say he gets 8-12 carries and 3-4 receptions per game. There will be the rare game, or two, that he may get close to 20 carries but not on a consistent basis.

If he gets 20-25 touches a game, I'll be surprised if he's around at season's end.

good. At his size, more than 10lbs over the off season would be doubtful to be all clean weight. Besides, it's hard for me to agree that he needs to bulk up too much after he lead the league in YPC, I'm a big believer in "if it aint broke, don't fix it"

The kid could be great, but he has to get over idea that he's going to be a Curtis Martin or Steven Jackson. He's a big time weapon, but he won't be on the bench because he's hurt. True, it only takes one play to sideline a guy, and it could still happen with 15 touches instead of 30. But, don't try to make a player something he isn't.

Well nobody really knows what he is. Guys like Jamaal Charles and Chris johnson have had some damn long impressive success in this league carrying the load with the same type of body and build.

You all just assuming he will be fragile and get hurt just seems a little silly until he's proven thats the case.

You're not afraid of breaking our weapon?

I dont think juke has ever come out and said he thinks he is compared to any player, who the heck would think he is a steven jackson? hes more of a sproles/charles.

Playing scared is playing to lose. Should we throw to fitz less? 100 catches might wear down his body.

Even though Ellington will see more action, Arians likes big backs for short yardage and goal line carries. IMO Dwyer or Taylor will score the TDs.
