There is zero chance Whiz would've given Palmer the opportunity to succeed. Wouldn't have been much different from Kolb imo.

Trade for Palmer, from Cincy? Didn't they get a #1 for him? He's a vg QB, imo, but I probably wouldn't have wanted to give up a number one. If it were the number two that we gave up for Kevin Kolb, I'd be okay with that, and I'm not talking now, but when we got KK.

I wanted Palmer as well.

For those who THINK Palmer would have not had success with Whiz are sadly mistaken. I know it's opinion but mine is based on a factual history. Every time Whiz has had a legit starting NFL QB, his teams have been either in the SB, in the playoffs, or on the brink of the playoffs. I don't think a Whiz coached offense with a legit QB has ever finished below .500.
