Good to see you guys back on your feet. . . can't wait til our first matchup.

It will be weird to see Kidd and Marion together in Dallas unis. I wonder if Dallas fans will remember how badly they would malign him (Marion).

I'm sure many of you know this already.

But you guys drafted Marion #9 in the 99 draft.

That was the pick Dallas traded to you for Marion.

Now all this time later, I guess we got that pick back and you got Nash back.

Same here. It looks like the Mavs are at least three deep at PG: Barea, Beaubois, Kidd and Terry on occasion. I guess my question is in regard to Jason Kidd. His stats appear down. Is that because the mix of PGs or is he slowing down?

He's about the same as last year, so I'd say the mix is the reason. I'll say this though, as I've come to realize this this season. There is nothing like having the ball in the hands of someone who you know will make every right decision. A lot of people may still think the Harris trade was a mistake, but it wasn't. You couldn't trust Harris with the ball in the same manner as you can trust Kidd. Plus, I don't think you'll ever see Devin have the season he had last year again in regards to having those numbers and being healthy. I just don't think he's as good as last year indicated.

I'm impressed that you have noticed Beaubois. Still though he was a hidden secret.

If this trend keeps up it should be an interesting matchup. Unlike previous seasons the Suns bench is actually contributing and playing defense.

I still don't like the harris trade because of the age of he and j-kidd. and at the point of the trade it appeared that harris was prime to become a big time player for dallas. but mark cuban is a gambler always going for the win now formula. The irony of it is how much worse off are the mavs? they really aren't paying the price for that trade...just like you can't say that they paid the price for letting nash walk. if anything phoenix should be thankful to mark, but his mavs got even better after nash left. and it comes down to dirk becoming a complete HOF player and mark cuban doing a great job of keeping a good supporting cast around him. I think when healthy this year's team is much better than last year. of corse right now dampier, howard, and marion are out indefinitely. but dirk's game looks to still be on the rise.

beaubois appears to be a good player. how about the ability for dallas to keep getting these guys late in the 1st round and having them contribute. or even these no name guys and roll players. strong core and leadership on this team I like it. now if they could ever win a NBA title? not looking promising, but I think this team with a healthy josh howard and shawn marion could be a force.

I watched a number of film clips on Beaubois before the draft so it does not surprise me he will be a good player. Maybe the Suns should start watching more film on players.
