Actually, I didn't pick it up, had it shipped from newegg.

I know some people got a better deal than me, but my birthday is in a couple of weeks and I wanted to get myself something nice.

I have to say, I am more than happy with my purchase. I haven't had a chance to spend all day at the Cox store to swap out my DVR for an HD one, so I can't comment on the HD, but I am impressed with the picture quality and speakers.

Currently, I have a two year old Hitachi 51" HD projection TV for the living room, and that has been a great purchase for me as well. It really helps to do your research.

I also got the wall mount, but I'm moving in a couple of months so I'm gonna wait to mount this baby on the wall. 37 inches is perfect for the bedroom.

I wish it had more HDMI's, but I knew that going in. I plan on getting a VGA cable to hook my PC up to it as well.

I also have a PS3 on the way, so I can't wait to hook that up too, but I recommend this TV to anyone looking for a combo of quality/price.

I paid $669.99, but it came with the mount. Probably could have picked it up cheaper, but I am loyal to newegg as no one touches their service as far as online merchants go in my book.

I think mines the 337H.

Yeah, I can't wait for my PS3 to get here and watch "Planet Earth"

Actually, I just hooked up my standard DVD player and it looks GREAT. Hard to imagine that Blu-Ray or HD DVD can look much better.

Last month I bought a 42'' Sceptre LCD-HDTV from microcenter for 899$ Paid the extra 150 for the 3 year extended warranty becasue it is not a name brand that I have heard of.

Pros:

Sick tv for the price
Just as good as picture as the 1400$ Sharp Aquos
Made in the USA!!!

Cons:

Annoying buzz thru the speakers as TV warms up, goes away after a few mins.
Remote isn't all that

Overall I'm stoked. It's my first big tv not to mention the first time I have even seen an HD picture. Lovin it!!! Can't wait to get a HD DVD player or a blue ray. Anyone know the difference?

I don't know the difference, but I believe there is an HD thread that seems to be rather detailed, so I bet you can find your answer there.

I actually just got home from the Cox store in Tempe where I swapped out my standard def DVR for an HD one for my bedroom. Believe it or not, I was only in there for a total of about 8 minutes, has to be some kind of a record.

If you're lacking in HDMI inputs, go to Best Buy and pick up a HDMI selecter switch...They have a nice one that I picked up for $90 the other day. It allows 3 HDMI ports and it has an automatic switch, so you don't have to get up to switch the ports...it picks up the power from your device and switches automatically. It works really well and will handle 1080p. Circuit City has a similar one, but it only has 2 ports and costs $115.

You should never buy an HDMI switch IMO. They just aren't worth the price. You can get a HDMI switching receiver for $250, and a really good one for $400.

The $89 I paid, was worth it to me. It works just fine...I can't afford another $250-400. BTW, what does that extra money buy?

Yeah, I was thinking about that. I had found one at newegg for $109 I think. I decided, for now, that I'll just unplug and plug in the ps3, HD receiver until I get one. Since it's in my bedroom it's not that big of a deal. I figure that on Black Friday, I may be able to pick one up pretty cheap, but thanks for the info. If you hear of any cheaper, let me know...
