Just wondering, what would DG have done last year...traded down or taken who?

Just curious, being that both of our first round picks from last year are Super Busts.

Never have seen Denny trade down. He most likely would have taken T. Suggs.

You dont think he would have taken Byron?

Forgot about Leftwich. Denny may have pulled the trigger and taken him ahead of Suggs. He took Culpepper ahead of Kearse and if he felt that Leftwich was a franchise qb he would have taken him.

Great question, I say he takes Suggs because Green likes what he see in McCown. Or Green could really like Leftwich and take him. Someone should ask Green this question.

If you asked him now, he'd say Suggs because he's had the most impact.

On draft day he criticized the move saying at 6 you have to get an impact player, by moving down the Cards didn't. I don't think he ever said WHO he would have picked though but Suggs and Leftwich were the 2 guys ESPN was basically asking about.

I have no doubt he wouldn't have moved down.

I think with DG being big on Offense he would have taken Leftwich.

He would have taken Suggs. Green is all about playmakers and ther is no way he would let a 20+ sack man in college go.

On the other hand he would have never selected Boldin at all. Bad combine and only good not great college numbers.

I think Leftwich was a lock but totally agree on Boldin.

Depends on how Green would have ranked the diffrent players. Green is all about Best Available Player. Ranking wise at #6 last year: Suggs, Leftwich or Trufant probably in that order..
