Keeping in mind that we are the Chica..St Lou..Phoen..AZ Cardinals,

Which would you most associate with or best describes our Cardinals

  • Usually struggling to be a .500 team

  • Rarely, if ever, considered a playoff team

  • Where all pro players can go to get their last big pay day before retiring

  • Once in a lifetime "1 hit wonder" Super Bowl team

  • Players who love $$ more than they do winning a championship

  • Maybe the last place coaches and players dream of coming to

  • Fans who would rather win a meaningless game than gain a high draft choice

  • Team that always seems to be only a couple players away from turning it around

  • Bad luck team who never seems to get out of their own way

  • Great team for young refs to begin practicing their craft on

  • What an insult - None of the above

  • Oh My God - All of the above

If your going to put a line in there about winning meaningless games, why not put on there that says fans that want to loose meaningful games to get a higher draft choice?

There have been some wild polls from you, but this one is on top of... OH MY!!!

I’m all for losing meaningless games if it means that I can enjoy a decade or two of HOF QB play. I still have nightmares knowing that Peyton Manning should have been a Cardinal.

Indy tried to make that happen they won 2 out of their last 3, but IIRC 2 by the last game of the year they already had the first pick sewn up, and our win against ATL didn't matter.

To me we seem to always be just a couple players away. That is just in the 2000's. Before that it was pure ownership that kept this team from winning.

They are still the Chicago Cardinals to me....it's just that they play all their games on the road.

we used to debate that subject pretty often back then. Billy Bidwill takes lots of flack for all of that... but Phoenix screwed him pretty bad,... then ASU followed suit and screwed him again.
Bill wasn't cheap... he just didnt have a lot of cash flow to work with. Its amazing how quickly the team changed once they got the stadium Phoenix promised him while they were still in st louis

We owned the first pick going into the last game of the season. Had we lost to Atlanta, we had the 1st pick. Knowing the Cardinals, they somehow would have drafted Ryan Leaf instead of Peyton.

Not cheap? He is famously known for saying that he didn't want to win a Super Bowl because he would have to pay his players more. In Conrad Dobler's book, he said that on a flight home from a road game, the players were given subs to eat and that Bill probably took the leftovers home to his family. So, yeah, the guy was an extreme cheapskate.
