I think Kielback is better suited for radio, but I thought he was good as the TV guy. I hope he lands at a good team.

I hope this move, which may be just part of the general housecleaning that seems to be going on, doesn't bring a "conversational" play-by-play guy like Leander or Brenneman.

I like Brennaman a lot. I don't watch hockey much though so it doesn't matter. When I did though I really liked Keilback.

I've heard the same nice things about Curt Keilback from other NHL fans & all expect him to land on his feet somewhere. He is apparently a well repsected guy around the league! Good luck Curt I'l miss your call here in the desert.

Hey face it guys Kielback was killing us on the powerplay and he brought nothing to the penalty killing. I cant tell you how many times that guys lost games for us. Props to management for getting this guy out of here, our team got better already!!!

I really loved the job he was doing with the yotes man and its a shame the guy is out. He will bounce back and hopfully call some games for a team that makes a run for the cup.

Rumors out of Pittsburgh is that Long Time (Hall of Fame) Broadcaster Mike Lang may be coming to Phoenix. If he does Yotes fans are going to love Mike Lang. one of a kind and top notch.

I will miss Kielback However Mike Lang is that good.

was there anymore of an exciting team outside of the Oilers in the 80's?

They were chock full of studs with 4 strong lines. Barrasso wasn't anything like Roy but he could make some amazing stops. I loved that team and I can't wait to see another team like that. Maybe the Pens can put it back together with Syd the kid.

The Pens are my #1 Team. However I am a Yotes fan as well.

Cool. I also moved from Pittsburgh, but in 85. So the Penguins are still a favorite team. I buy the Center Ice package just so I can watch them. This was a great year for them!
