Uh oh, other coaches who call out players publically have "destroyed players' confidence."

To make matters worse, Arizona actually got better production out of the Kevin Kolb-John Skelton duo (109-of-183 for 1,190 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions) through the five weeks of last season than they've received from Palmer (106-of-180 for 1,185 yards, five touchdowns and nine interceptions) in the same span.
Ouch.

They need to be reminded that NFL stands for "Not For Long" if they don't start producing.

I get Housler and Palmer. I don't get Roberts. Can he help it if Palmer won't even look his way? Did he reference something specific besides a drop? Those happen. Just ask Steve Smith.

Just mentioned the drop. I would venture to say that the thread title shouldn't even include Roberts. It was more of a passing comment then a call out.

Rob Housler was so bad on Sunday it was positively horrifying. I didn't scream as much the first time I saw The Exorcist.

Not sure which was worse, the lining up on the line of scrimmage when he was supposed to be off, or never turning his head around on that pass. WTF.

It should include Roberts. Maybe why not? 13 receptions in 24 targets? Maybe Keim sees things. :)

Palmer has been throwing to the beer vendor in row 17 when targeting Andre. #12 isn't the problem I assure u.

Not true. I can think of about 3 drops/non-catches. I suppose if the conventional ASFN logic holds:

If the OL is responsible for Palmer's poor play, then it is also responsible for Roberts' and Housler's poor play.

Are you referring to the 277 3rd and shorts where Palmer has time to throw a short 4 yard pass, but places in just the perfect place between the defender and the receiver so it is an automatic pass-defensed or worse?

Sounds reasonable to me. But not Larry. He can do no wrong.

Yeah, that one fell flat. Trying to be sarcastic about how Fitz still isn't catching any flak for his performance. I blew it.
I have seen people blame Fitz for somehow being in the wrong spot. The spot where the defender was just standing before running the other way with the ball after being hit square in the numbers with the ball.

How is it that under such tremendous pressure, Palmer manages to throw such perfect passes where only the defender can catch it?

All 3 have to pick it up significantly.

With Housler the reality is the OL sucks so we can use TE's to block, so if he's not catching the ball, he's of no value.

Roberts I tend to think is more a Palmer issue, he's not wide open, but when he is open he's not gettnig the ball.

If Palmer gets a D- for the game and Housler gets an F, then Andre earns a C-.
One drop is hardly reason to ignore him the rest of the game. His opportunity was significantly more difficult than the drops by Lafell and Smith IMO.

palmer has been ignoring him all season except for the first game. Ignoring fitz too. He follows floyd and housler everywhere.
