Good....so agent or no agent, the deal gets done.

Good momentum swinging our way. Good start to getting in the right Mngmt. and someone who knows the org. and FO workings well.

Does Licht stick as well?

Keim is 40, has worked for the Cardinals since 1999. Former all-ACC guard for NC State.

Seems like he could. Maybe he will be promoted into Kiem's old role.

Ok now if Keim hires Haley, fire them both.

Good news here...

Keim/Licht work well together MT @RapSheet: Per team source, expect Jason Licht, dir of player pers., to stay w/AZ. Maybe w/higher title.

This doesn't look good for Horton's chances at being full on HC, IMO. Also might mean McCoy was responsive to the meet, and if Keim was in on that then I could understand the timing on all this, but that's just some hit or miss by yours truly. If Horton's the man I see it happening very soon, I would see no reason for the delay. I hope Haley isn't really in the running.

I would think that MB would have taken Keim with him to Denver when they interviewed McCoy. He had him sit in on the Horton interview.

I'm happy with Keim. Part of me wanted to start fresh with someone entirely new to the team, but Keim seems very well respected around the league.

I just hope he's allowed to do his job without a lot of interference from other people in the organization. The old FO structure seemed far too muddled.
