No we don't. We talk about him like a play maker who will make 3 or 4 big flashy plays for you a year. But get burned pretty bad about 12 other times a year due to free lancing.
Not great by any means but not horrible either. He was/is an average safety at best who got a reputation for the big flashy play.
That fairly well sums up the entire defense for the last few years. Average to below average work complemented by flashy plays ie fumble returns for TDs, INTs, forced fumbles and the occasional amazing pass break up.
I had hoped that had left with the guys who moved on but it hasn't.
Rhodes has played very well, Toler has been a very pleasant surprise, and the tackling has improved but we are still seeing guys running wide open and the breakdowns on third and long that have plagued the Cards for years.
