Brittle does not = Lack of Courage.
It just means that muscles tear more readily, bones break more easily and tendons, ligaments and cartilege are more likely to rip.
Let's put it this way - It would be a stretch to say that Kolb is "really durable."
But to question his guts really is ludicrous.
So what do you do when you have a really gutsy but brittle QB? At some point you have to come to grips with harsh reality and make the proverbial "hard football decision" if we want to win. I hope we're nowhere near that point yet.
Kolb has shown great courage but that does not mean he is the QB of our future. I thought he would end up injured during the season and so posted. He has somewhat of a history of being injured just like Vick has a history of fumbles and turning the ball over. I wish Kevin the absolute best but he is still not the QB I want to see running this team. I am not thrilled with Skelton either and I think he will have a tough time making it through the season without injury. Aside from our terrible offensive line he is very slow on his feet. A QB should be our top priority next season along with two OTs. We have so many holes we are in a tough spot. Our best RBs are injured. We have no credible RBs. If you cannot run and cannot pass the only left is to punt. Our strength remains our defense for better or worse. They may be able to win a couple of games but I do not see us doing any better than 7-9 and last in our division. Seems to me there should be some older OTs that were released that have to be better than what we have.
