This was a bad move. Zero red flags with Mack. Still young. Premium position.

Good Lord, the Bears are getting back a 2nd rounder, too.

Ski-Mask HOF move by Pace. Unbelievable.

Except for the big price tag, the Bears got a decent deal. We'll see in the 3rd game, when the Bears are here!

Bears get
Mack
2nd rounder 2020
Conditional 5th rounder 2020

Raiders get
Cap space
2019 and 2020 1st rounder
3rd rounder 2020
6th rounder 2020

Basically 2 first rounders value wise, but it could fluctuate a bit.

If Bears return to poor form, it could be two top 5 or top 10 picks and a high 3rd rounder in essence for what may be a mid to late 2nd rounder (so like a 15 pick move down).

If Bears get good and Raiders go down the value would be quite a bit less.

Good lord blockbuster deal.

2 first rounders and a 3rd is a hefty price but they also get a 2nd in return.

I would if given a 1 all day but not 2 first.

This is a non-sequitur. Calais Campbell is a deal compared to these two, also.

Cardinals would of been dumb to match that deal.

His comp was Bennett in Seattle at the time then Jacksonvile damn near doubles it because there a franchise that had to overpay to get free agents. CC also much older.

If the Rams suceed will they be the first NFL team to ever win trough free agency? I'm not talking about adding a player im talking about building a team

Well in reality it is only one player difference. Mack becomes the bears first round pick next year (Mack most likely would be considered the best player in the draft :)), but with a much heftier price tag.

That's a really really big price tag.

How do you figure? The Rams did not "build" a team with FA's. Suh, Peters, Talib, and Cooks. Four of 22 starters (offense & defense). We did sign our own guys like Havenstein, Gurley, and Donald with a lot of guaranteed money, which may make it seem like we replaced the whole team. But no.

Are you serious? Ok you know what your right you guys didn't go crazy in free agency like no team in recent memory...well 2011 dream team Eagles.

Are you really that literal.

Good luck with your home grown team.

No,being literal would mean that two of the four new guys were actually trades and not gained through free agency. Peters and Cooks were acquired by trades, Suh and Talib were gained through FA. We've had the youngest team for a lot of years in a row, but often teams get FA's when they are going for a Championship, to fill out the roster.

We don't need luck.
