Kicking was poor

Our kicking was not good. One KO seemed like a pooch and came down about the 40. Punts were not good also. We gave the Niners good field position too often.

Special teams were not that great also.

I think they were purposely keeping the ball away from Rossum on many of those kicks. Was the loss of Highsmith a factor in coverge?

Seemed like it. If you watch Ralph Brown on the TD return he seems to be more interested in turning his back trying to draw a block in the back penalty, than trying to stop Rossum.
