Great point, jbeecham - - is it surprising that not a word has been said by Jason himself, but rather his PR agent.....er, wife, who was nowhere near the meetings between Kidd & Rod Thorn?

I think it is sad when a player is dictating to the team how to run the team. I agree Scott may not be a great coach but the Spurs should be aware of team chemistry problems if he comes along

Exactly. That's why we need more players like Jason Kidd in the NBA today. We need guys who, well, as Rod Thorn put it, "In my over four decades in the NBA, I have never encountered a player more cognizant than Jason of the delineation of roles between management, players and coaches. Jason fully understands that management, and not players, decide who will be employed by the team. I want to reiterate that this was an erroneous story without merit -- Jason Kidd has never asked nor demanded that coach Scott be fired, and to be portrayed otherwise is an injustice to Jason as well as coach Scott." Jason Kidd is just the perfect athlete then, isn't he? Or is he still "sad"? Oh, and you guys seem to know Mr. Kidd much better than this Rod Thorn fellow, so I'm sure what he said has no merit when put up against your word that "Jason Kidd blows".

Jason Kidd is the biggest a-hole in professional sports. Period.

Well, Damon Stoudemire does smokes marijuana a lot, and gets caught once a week. He's a pretty big, uh, a-hole too.

Who both are not returning calls of course

Yes, it's very fishy that Jason Kidd, a superstar athlete, and Rod Thorn are not returning calls to local reporters. In the early 1930s, I actually put in a call to adolf hitler, but he never called me back - do you think Kidd and Thorn might be using this whole Byron Scott firing feasco as a front and in there ploy for world domination? Think about it...

The fact of the matter is, everybody who has ever left this Phoenix Suns organization in the past 5 years has spoken out against Scott Skiles, Richard Simmons or whoever the f**k his name is that coached Dallas when Kidd was there was obviously an idiot who knew nothing but what he could still read from the notes he took on the back of his hand during one of Phil Jackson's pre-game speaches, and this Byron Scott stuff is bullcrap. Considering everybody who seems to like Jason Kidd on the Nets, saying he is a locker room cancer is also completely unfounded. But as I understand some of you guys simply do not like Jason Kidd, I guess I won't get too offended the next time he spills his milk on the breakfast table and you guys say he's rubbing it in the faces of all the starving people there are in the world by wasting food.

Nobody is arguing that Stoudamire is the biggest idiot in the NBA, but that doesn't make him the biggest a-hole.

It was a comment on how Joumana is willing to comment on a situation she is not a part of when the 2 main parties at the time were avoiding calls. Last time I checked Jason and Joumana probably have the same house number.......did Jason just throw the phone to her and say you handle this?

I nominate Nottakidfan (or should we all just admit, his name should be Biggestkidfan) for the least popular Suns forum member.

Or "guy most unable to prove a point."

Good to see he has the same dedication for Kidd as he used to have for Penny.

Sorry, this is a little off topic, but remember all the talk we had about TJ Kidd's hude noggin? People got very defensive, etc., and then someone said that we would still make fun of him if he were paraded around by someone on our team. Well, people forget to mention...Marbury has a dome of epic proportions.

Most unable to prove a point? I don't get it, since my post, not a single reply has been trying to refute what I said, and further the arguement against Jason Kidd, other than to criticize the grammar or make some stupid joke. I wonder why that is.

Good to see he has the same dedication for Kidd as he used to have for Penny.

Yeah, loyalty and dedication are some of my faults. I'm working with it though, and soon I'm hoping to change. One minute you're superhigh on a player, the next minute you can't stop kicking him to the curb. If you wanna talk about a-holes, I'm pretty sure you must have a rather large one by now as well. Clown.

Oh and by the way, I still do have the exact same dedication to Penny, it's just that before, when you guys were kicking him because he was down, I had to defend him because I was one of the only people who believed in him. You guys ragged on him to no end because but I stuck up for him. Nowadays, Penny has shown that he still has some game left in him, and considering this team was under .500 and out of the playoffs when he wasn't playing, he showed he's still extremely valuable to this team. Now you guys are happy with him, and suddenly he's not the locker-room cancer/cry-baby he used to be. Wow, either he has completely changed as a person, or his injury healed. Which one do you think happened?

That's the way to do it.. I guess once you guys have expelled your last breaths of arguements, you go to what feels most natural for you: Criticizing the sizes of people's heads. Keep up the good debate, fellas.

It's just, to be quite honest Chap, seeing you jump on and off athlete's ***** so often looks somewhat painful. :D

You are classic! Way to go man--you have truly hurt my feelings. Now I'm going to throw myself off a bridge.

Uh, I think he's changed as a person. Am I wrong? You apparently think the answer to your question is obvious, but I'm not sure what you think it is.

He sure says he has changed, in most interviews. And I think I read somewhere that he recently became a born-again Christian.

In fact, Hardaway's still-compromised athleticism indicates pretty clearly that his injury hasn't healed.

I think I figured it out.

notakiddfan1 is actually Jason Kidd. In order to deflect from the fact that he IS Kidd on a message board that generally hates him, he changes his screen name to deflect attention.

Yet, ever since Kidd was traded, therealhardaway hasn't even mentioned Penny Hardaway--most, if not all, of his posts have been praising the greatness that is Jason Kidd.

Hypocrites of the world, unite!

How in the world can anyone admire Kidd? Let's see what he has done in his great career. He got a coach in fired in Cal. He got a coach a fired in Dallas. He got a coach fired in Phx not to mention blackballed. Now he is doing the same thing with the Nets.

I wish Rod Thorn would kick Kidd out of the door. He is not a good guy especially when things go bad. If you ask me, the Nets did well in the playoffs and won two games against S.A. was because of Kenyon Martin. Kenyon Martin carried the team not Kidd IMO.

Which coach from Phoenix did Jason Kidd get fired?
