Keim: Please don't spend $11 million of the cap on him

You need a ton of other positions over WR

Bet the house Larry returns and again gets another $11 mill.

When someone can pinpoint how spending $11 million on Fitz has somehow harmed the team, I'll get on board with this line of thinking... Until then however, I'll take Fitz at $11 million...

As much as I kinda agree with the sentiment of this, it is hard to argue when we have what 4 times that in dead cap money?

Larry deserves 11M as long as he stays healthy and wants to be here.

The cap is going up by about $12 million...it's really a non-starter to quibble over 3 or 4 million with Fitz.

Larry can play for $11mil/year for however long he wants. His stats this season, compared to other WRs in the league, are roughly in that ballpark in terms of annual salary, so he's not being paid above market value, on top of the other intangibles he brings to this team.

There are about 50 other areas of concern for this team that I'd think about before I even touch Larry.

We're gonna suck ass till Keim gets the axe, If that's not happening anytime soon (and it look's like it isn't)

I'd give Fitz a pile of money to stay, He is one of the few bright spots on this team, I hated Denny for drafting him at the time, but he'll go down as the best Cardinal in history, for so many reasons.

Fitz is worth it, as sure handed as any WR ever. Yes, he can't get the separation he one did but catches everything thrown his way. If we can get a true #1 WR in the offseason, it will open things up for Larry underneath. He could put up even better numbers next season playing along side a true #1.

If Larry wants to play he stays. There would be a fan revolution if we let Larry walk away and play for another team. He is in fantastic shape and is an asset to this offense. He certainly is not a detriment.

He's sure handed, doesn't drop passes & like I said, if he plays next to a #1 WR, he could very well get targeted more? KK likes to use the mesh play, that's perfect to get production out of Larry.

He literally dropped a pass on third down that would have resulted in a first like two weeks ago.

Jeebus, D.K. Metcalf has 100+ more yards than Fitz on 14 fewer receptions.

How often does that happen though? Metcalf drops at least one pass almost every game, Larry doesn't. Metcalf has the speed to go deep & separate, Larry can't do that like he once did for sure. I get that. However, as I said, if we get a #1 type WR that's young & can separate, with Kirk drawing attention, that will free Larry up underneath with LB's trying to cover him. He can catch all those 8-12 yd passes that KK likes to call. Maybe Larry doesn't ask for 11 million? Who knows. Maybe for the betterment of the team he asks for 8-9 so we can add more players? Too many questions to be answered right now.

Problem is, hes is by far our best wr. I dont think anyone has really stepped up this season. Might need to draft jerry Jeudy and/or justin jefferson

As I've said each and every time the idea of Fitz walking away from the game comes up - he'll be back next season. He isn't done yet.

They're the same differently lol. His avatar logo is the same as mine with a teardrop. I had no idea they were so close until after creating mine & then seeing his. He was here well before me. I googled smaller Cardinal downloadable logos & mine came up. I had to shrink mine even more. This board has a very small avatar size limit lol.
