I don't post often on here but read a lot. Why do you even bother following the Suns? You're the most negative poster I've seen on here in years. Does it not get dull always trying to pick out bad points?

I wish I could stop following the Suns, but I have been a fan for 45 years. The problem is that for the last 8 years or so, this has been the worst run franchise in the NBA, and the present incarnation of this team is giving me little cause for hope.

We were down by 2 when Saric came in for Baynes and immediately went down by 6, which is where it's been pretty much since.

Plain and simple, Baynes isn't playing well enough, especially on defense, to justify.

The energy and length of the Ayton, Bridges, Oubre, Booker, Rubio lineup needs more PT, it is by far their most effective and it's length causes teams real problems.

I, too, wonder why, following Dialo's good start, he wasn't given a chance to develop.

Is something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about?

Saric should clearly lose playing time as the season progresses.

My understanding is that there is a mandate from James Jones to spread the floor with outside shooters. Hence the Cam and Jerome picks. As such, because Diallo has no outside shot, Saric and Kaminsky remain ahead of him in the rotation, even though Diallo brings much more to the table than both of them.

This roster was built to live and die by the 3. That might work for the Warriors and Rockets, who have multiple Hall of Fame shooters, but it really doesn't work for anyone else.

Booker did not score during the first 11 minutes of the 2nd quarter.

The Knicks wins the half 61-51.

The Knicks are the far stronger team.

Getting bullied by the Knicks at home. That can’t happen. Suns put out a big lineup and still got hammered on the boards and the effort to get 50/50 balls has been bad.

Looks like even at full strength we're back to being one of the worst teams in the NBA, and very much trending in the wrong direction.

I still think we finally have a decent coach. We now need an experienced, respectable GM to right the ship and put together a proper roster. Any suggestions?

That's what happens when you don't have an NBA power forward on the roster.

When will they ever learn? Oh, when will they ever learn?

Die by the '3', die by the '3'.

They will learn when their GM doesn't put so much damn emphasis on the 3...

Yeah, I really don't like pulling Ayton out of the paint.

Let him learn to be a great post player, don't pull him all over the floor asking him to play as a wing defender for half his PT.

That's sort of what happened last season. Ayton played too far away from the basket. He needs to play closer to the basket for my liking.

Bobby Portis (4-6) was big for the Knicks off the bench with 11 points.

If Suns can't stop other teams from bullying them it's going to be a long season. Knicks played with a lot of confidence in first half.

Suns record at home is 6-12.

Unfortunately, that's like expecting Major League baseball to stop putting so much
emphasis on "lift" (popups and strikeouts) and stubornly hitting into the shift.

It is not just the Suns. But, with our other weaknesses, it won't make us winners.

I thought that when Book went two games without attempting a '3' recently, and
we stopped getting blown out early, it would bring about a change. Evidently not.

Monty's comments at the half were, "We have to (do this). We have to (do that).

That's a wish. Not a plan.

Knicks are thinking about Ayton so the court is spread. Suns cut lead to 61-58.

Great to see Booker hit that 3 pointer.
