Knicks are thinking about Ayton so the court is spread. Suns cut lead to 61-58.

The problem is that Ayton is really the only interior player we have (outside of Diallo, who gets no playing time), and he gets camped out on the perimeter too much. We need more emphasis on interior play on both ends of the court, and that includes at least two more real interior players (not 6'9" to 6'11" shooting guards)...

Oubre needs to add a little fake on those close-in shots.

Ayton and Diallo is a much better twin towers for the Suns rather than Ayton and Baynes.

They are more active.

You can tell this team is well coached, and that they will always continue to fight. They just don't have the horses, particularly depth-wise. This team still desperately needs at least two power forwards, a back-up point guard and a back-up shooting guard...

Referees blow another call. A good block by Rubio.

Monty's comments at the half were, "We have to (do this). We have to (do that).

That's a wish. Not a plan.

This doesn't make any sense. What is he supposed to say? Make more shots! Pretty sure everyone knows that.

The NBA is terrific at marketing and building up its stars, but the in-court product is downright awful. The refs are affecting every single game in this league and it’s not even debatable. It not only ruins the viewing experience but degrades the legacy of the game.

I know I'm going to be crucified for saying this, but it seems that much more obvious to me this game:

This team, both now and for the future, would be in so much better shape had Brandon Clarke or P.J. Washington been the pick at 11.

If Ayton can consistently play like this, as a defender, outlet passer, his aggression rolling to the hoop, he will live up to his draft slot. He's been a monster this 2nd half.
