Kobe?

I think my eyes would explode out of my head if he went to the knicks. I dont see Kobe in anything other than a Lakers or Bulls jersey.

Did anyone else see Kobe on the Jimmy Kimmel show? Most of the interview was chit chat, but then near the end Jimmy says something along the lines of "I know you can't talk about it but I just want you know as a long life Laker fan, I want to see you retire in Purple and Gold." Kobe doesn't say anything but just gives an awkward smile. Kimmel then says "I just want you to think about us when you make your decision". And Kobe says "Thank you" and nods.

Its gonna get real interesting as the offseason draws to a close. The trade demand isn't officially off the table, but the destinations for Kobe are limited:

Bulls-Would have to gut their whole team because the Lakers are not gonna take on Benny Wallace's contract, leaving Kobe back at square one.

New York-I think they have a good chance

Memphis-I'm only listing them because of that one Blazers announcer who "leaked" the proposed trade of Gasol/MIller for Kobe but they've since picked up Navarro for Gasol.

Phoenix-Marion, Raja or Barbosa, ATL Pick?


As long as Kobe leaves the Lakers, I'm gonna love the trade, wherever he ends up.

BTW, it wasn't awkward or anything like it...but those who want to see it will and those that don't won't. Very relative, the Theory of Kobetivity is.
