Bring back the wishbone!!!!

Hahaha, exactly. :)

In all seriousness though I think this year we need to flip our pass/run ratio completely. And neither Williams nor Beanie is durable enough to do that in my opinion. Gonna need that 3rd back. It'll never happen anyway. I'd actually be happy if it were 50/50, but I don't think it will be.

It's amazing how much better a QB looks when he has just a modicum of extra time in the pocket to let things settle down.

All it took was Batiste to replace Young, and suddenly Kolb looked like he knew what he was doing.

Skelton had to face the jailbreak created by Young and had no time to make right choices.

Result - This week's Skelton resembled last week's Kolb - and vice versa.

All because of a change at LT.

I think this sums it up. Both Skelton and Kolb should have seen playing time after Young was replaced for a fair evaluation. I believe the Cardinals will experience a repeat of the start of last season if they think Kolb is the answer with Skelton coming back later on as the starter trying to salvage the season.

What was said by Dilfer last night, and I tend to agree with, is that our D, which has the potential to be very good, was on the field way too long last night. We all know that it takes alot more energy to play D than O. It may not be pretty, or exciting, enough for us, like what we saw in the Warner days...but, pound the rock. If nothing else it gives our D more time to rest.

Until we have a credible line nothing but frustration is going to come from the passing game.

Mark in SC :)

P.S. Bone-headed int.'s, which create short fields, also screw everything up! :bang:

Yessir. Only the Cardinals could have the football for 38 minutes + and get dissed for leaving their D on the field too long. Killer turnovers.
