the move had to be done ... the hawks had little other choice

although i'm not sure if anyone in AZ will notice, he was either suspended or a non factor for most of the hawk/cards meetings

bobby taylor is also gone (if he was every actually there)

time to make a move on uniting the boulware brothers

Bobby Taylor and Antrelle Rolle would make two huge corners. I think he makes too much though.

Koren Robinson is just a thug in shoulder pads.

there was some talk about bringing taylor back ... but in the end his knees were too far gone for the money he wants

i was pumped at having him as a 3rd corner last year

he may have a year or two left ... but whoever picks him up better have a backup if he goes down

could be good risk/reward though

The irony is in the draft that year you had David Terrell, who everyone had rated the top WR, and you had Robinson who was fast closing on Terrell. Terrell has proven himself to be incredibly immature, yet compared to Robinson he's a saint, and that's precisely what was said about Robinson pre draft. Lot of talent, very immature, has a lot of teams nervous but so talented he'll go high.

He did more when he played than Terrell did but they both seem to have taken far too long to learn that the NFL is serious business.

I wouldn't say he is a 'thug'. The guy has serious issues with drinking.

And no one better say 'bring him in, it can't hurt'.

Maybe they'll sign him in St Louis and him and Little can go bowling.

Funny. Look at the top 10 WR drafted that year and then compare the top 5 with the buttom 5.

2001
1 1 8 8 David Terrell Bears Michigan
2 1 9 9 Koren Robinson Seahawks North Carolina State
3 1 15 15 Rod Gardner Redskins Clemson
4 1 16 16 Santana Moss Jets Miami (FL)
5 1 25 25 Freddie Mitchell Eagles UCLA
6 1 30 30 Reggie Wayne Colts Miami (FL)
7 2 2 33 Quincy Morgan Browns Kansas State
8 2 5 36 Chad Johnson Bengals Oregon State
9 2 10 41 Robert Ferguson Packers Texas A&M
10 2 21 52 Chris Chambers Dolphins Wisconsin

Wow that's pretty amazing, of the top 5 only Moss and Gardner have done very well at all.

Yeah, what's more amazing is the bottom-5 all have had some success.
