The Seattle Kraken have signed prospect Andrei Lashko to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The 20-year-old will earn $870,000 at the NHL level and $80,000 at the AHL level. He'll likely complete the remainder of the season with the Coachella Valley Firebirds on an amateur try-out (ATO).
The Kraken's 2023 fourth-round pick (116th overall) spent the 2024-25 season with the Niagara IceDogs in the OHL, scoring 34 goals and 70 points in 67 games, ranking third in both goals and points on his team.
Prior to joining the IceDogs, the Belarusian international spent three seasons in the QMJHL, two with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and one with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, recording 66 goals and 163 points in 179 games.
Lashko will join the Firebirds as they gear up for the playoffs. They've clinched a playoff berth for the third consecutive season, but are looking to move up in the standings as they fight for seeding.
The squad is filled with a plethora of young talent, placing them in prime position to go on another long playoff run, one that hopefully doesn't end with a third consecutive Calder Cup finals loss.
Lashko is listed at 6'1 "183 lbs, which should help him adapt quickly to the style of hockey played in the AHL.
