KTAR 620 Sports Programming

With all the sleuths on this board somebody has to have some information on what the new lineup will be. Anybody hear anything?

Gambo and ash were noted as being pursued in the tribune this morning, the only facts are

5-9 am doug franz and ron wolfley (local)
9-11 Colin Cowherd (national)
11-2 Dan Patrcik (national)
2-6 (local) "though hiring is incomplete, program dirrector ryan hatch says he definatley p[lans to talk to gambo and ash. 6-9pm 620 sportsline with dave burns (llocal?)

860am will also have the same broadcast until decided on what to do with signal.

Suns, diamondbacks, asu and cards games will also be on this channel.

Honestly I was hoping they would bring in more fresh voices. These are all guys we have heard on Phoenix sports radio for years. It's not as if it is really anything new.

The Herd and Dan Patrick are good shows, so you'll be lucky in that.

Gambo and Ash will be the afternoon slot. Neither side can say in public they are interested. It would give the other a leg up in contract negotiations. They have had the highest rated sports talk show for the last several years. You just don't turn your back on that if your KTAR and trying to build the premier sports station.

Gambo and Ash are not only going to end up on KTAR, they are going to get a huge contract to go with it. Probably a significant pay bump. If your Gambo and Ash have the highest rated show...you just don't up and leave your job without another one lined up.
