Also as someone who is pro-Kyler, I will say right now that if we get our biggest need in the offseason and he doesn't get us to the 2nd round minimum I am done with him.

As long as we agree our biggest need is a deep shot WR, as in, Christian Kirk 2.0.

Something Harrison and Dorch don't do.

We need this weapon on offense now WAY MORE than we need a passrusher.

We were in the top 15 in sacks this year but out of the top 15 in terms of total offense. Also, our def is rated as a top 12 unit, with strength of schedule included. That should be the icing on the cake for anyone who is not convinced.

We can add more depth and talent on defense but the splash absolutely must be on the offensive side of the ball.

We should be thinking in terms of 2025 being Kyler's last year if we don't make a deep playoff run. Which means we need to surround him with more talent.

OVERWHELMING TALENT.

Monti need to make up for not recognizing we were able to compete this year. And he needs to do it on the offensive end.

Furthermore, Petzing needs a assistant or someone whose only job is to draw up 3rd and long passing plays and prevent him from continuing to do boneheaded calls.

The 3rd and 17 WR REVERSE TO MICHAEL WILSON was the last straw for me. Not even Mcdaniel would call that fricken play with Tyreke Hill. It made us look like we were giving up and we were lucky our defense gave us another chance.

Why anti-Kyler people should be optimistic?

If you owned stock that doubled from 4 to 8 dollars in one year but you expected much more, are you selling it?

We will double our wins after beating Dobbs tomorrow. Imagine as a fan going to Gannon's office and telling him this is unacceptable after he gutted 50 players to begin with.

To clarity, if we somehow got a bye and then lost that wouldn't count. We need to either get to the 2nd round or win a playoff game after a bye. Kyler got playoff experience already, however horrible it was so there is no time for a learning process there.

PS I fully expect Kingsberry's offense to fall apart in the playoffs.

The way we should remember this year is the fact we swept the 49ers...it has been awhile.

The way we should remember the year is sweeping the last place team in the division? Hoo-fricking-ray!

We don't. Our biggest need this offseason is Edge, and it isn't even close.

We were bottom 6 in pressure percentage.

We are 11th in yardage offense; 15th in scoring offense.

All we need is a middling WR with 4.5 speed — that’ll get us over the hump. Proof that memory loss is real.
Was going to say something similar. Harrison is a way bigger and faster deep threat than Kirk. Saying a deep threat is our biggest need when Kyler doesn't throw the deep ball, or just heaves it, is folly.

Maybe our biggest need is a QB who CAN and WILL throw the deep ball.

If he doesn't do it in year SEVEN, then you're out lol Only then? You sure you aren't in for year 8, 9? What about how he's going to mature heading into year 10?
I always find it funny how people just consider the period when he had a torn acl and other injuries as "Kyler playing."

Were you grading his call of duty record until he came back to play against the Falcons last year?

Can you tell us his K/D spread please so I can input it for all of us to see?

What was it exactly?

Also his contract is up in 2025. The fact it will also coincides with when we have the most talent on the team in the history of apparently his now 11 years now on the Cardinals is my exact reasoning.

Did you even listen to Kurt Warner or do you know so much more than him about how to judge QBs?

The most significant need on Offence is a Zay Flowers type of slot receiver. (Dortch, isn't it, or isn't being used properly by Petzing.)

The most significant needs for the defence are a dominant big body inside and pass rush.

IMHO...
100%. I just don't know if we can get both with how cheap Monti and Bidwill are. I also think Dante Stills has alot of potential if he is not double teamed. His sacks the first two seasons have been impressive. But I all in favor in giving up whatever is necessary to get that WR and a pass rusher as well. I just have a feeling we won't get everything we want unfortunately.

and bottom 4 in 3rd down conversion % allowed
And Kyler got rid of the ball in 2.2 seconds which was the fastest in his career but got sacked more this year than in 2021 when it was 2.4 seconds. Which is just proof that losing Hernandez and others also hurt us alot.

It really sucks cuz if you literally just look at how the games played out in December and January you miss the whole story.

We didn't have this epidemic of injuries in 2020-2021 when the team collapsed last time.

They say the game is won in the trenches so what does that means when like 8 of your oline and dline starters are on IR?

The defense found ways around it but the offense had more difficulty.

This clip tells me Kurt hasn't watch Kyler since the bye
Here is Kurt Warner at the beginning of the year breaking down what Kyler did wrong in an earlier game. Yeah...he pays attention and Cardinals fans with a similar attitude to you apparently argue with him on Twitter about it DURING THE GAMES lmao

It is not.

Impressive for a late-round pick. He’s a fine rotational DT; he’s not a foundational defensive piece.
My mistake. I honestly thought it was. Well my blueprint is to follow the 3 year plan Monti told us he would have.

We should do a poll maybe after the game where it is just straight to the point.

How far do we need to go next year for give Kyler a chance in 2026.

I am honestly teetering between second round and conference championship minimum. Just because I believe in the guy doesn't mean I don't want to see progress.

Fact is we gutted 50 players 3 years ago from the roster.

4 wins

8 wins (hopefully)

?

I think the next step has to be substantial. If we get to the playoffs and immediately lose its gonna fall on Murray's shoulders. Because our defense will not let us get blown out.
