If he thinks the lack of good QB play is going to effect our chances then I see no reason for anger towards the guy. How else is he supposed to word it. "I don't see the Cards threepeating because Kurt Warner is no longer there" using himself in the 3rd person or "Downgrade in QB play could be the Cards downfall to threepeating". No matter what he would be focusing on himself as the reason, a reason that is perfectly valid.

This and next season will define Wiz career here. Either we have just a blip on the screen or Wiz career is defined as "With Warner and Post Warner". Is that unfair, not sure, but that will without a doubt be the perception if we falter the next 3 years.

Good stuff here too. Thanks Joe.

Kurt only signed to do the Wednesday night NFL show each week along with practicing everyday on his dancing for this seasons DWTS'S show.

Never watched the show before except for Emmit Smiths championship night dance that was awesome.Warner is dedicating himself fully to represent the NFL the best he can.

Kurt also has signed to do a few Fox games this season and a couple NFL Network games as he did the Areana playoff & Championship games.

Kurt knows he has'nt got it down yet,but he is doing his homework on the Cardinals as he will be doing 2 Cardinals games this season.

Kurt also has a Movie of his NFL story being put together ready to start filming Kurt will be contributing.

He was in Indy last week recieving Peyton Mannings annual benifits trophy for NFL player and his giving. So he flew in during his busy schedule to bowl with peeps he had never met before as his team placed last. Was'nt due to Kurt.

Kurt is counting bigtime on Brenda as he is in the air almost 4 times a week between practices and taping of his many shows. His first year in the Media and I assure you if you followed Kurt on twitter you'd know No One criticizes Kurt more than Kurt.He has a very low opinion of himself.Sorry you see him different as he is now asked to give his opinion.

I think an NFL player with a very large ego who does'nt give back much is Steve Young. He is a clown in MPO.

Kurt may find himself in over his head his first year in the media, but he will always be as prepared as he was for the Cardinals each game.

I have to agree with Kurts assessment due to our very weak LB crew and how thin we are and the lack of gelling we have so far on our offensive line.Kurt tweeted Matt the minute he signed with the Texans to cheer him on and show his friendship.

Kurt stays in constant contact with Larry & Dockett as he knows they are now the leaders of this team.Goodluck to DA as I hope he picks up where Kurt left off and becomes comeback player of the year.

Kurt is still very stiff and needs to relax more and thats what this year is all about as he hopes the media becomes second nature. He still made time to see his two sons Football games as one won the game ball his first game as both starred in thier first games. He;s one busy dad.All this not even including the work he does for "First Things First". Already collecting coats for peeps in St.Louis.

Just spent aweek before he went to Italy with Brenda with 11 kids from Make A Wish foundation and worked a week building 3 homes in Iowa for the charity to build homes for others.Forget their name as this post went miles longer than I ever meant it to be to let you know Kurt does all he can not to appear the way you saw him.

Nice post. I follow Kurt on twitter. He's posted a few things about records he holds, but I attribute that to being out of the game and this being his first season out. It's almost like a "remember the time I did this or that ... man, that was fun" kinda thing.

He does a ton for the community. And, everytime he'd come to the Big Red Rage, he'd have dinner with his family, do the show and then sign autographs for the hoards of people lined up waiting. He didn't duck out like others or charge for an autograph. He was always very gracious.

I met Kurt at Matt Leinart's Super Bowl party in Scottsdale in 2008. He was unassuming and very appraoachable. Yeah, that was before he took the Cards to the Super Bowl, but still. He was just a regular guy. I know I appreciated talking to him that night.

Oh, and I totally agree with your assessment of Steve Young. I know a few people who have met him and everyone says he's a pompous ass.

I watched Total Access 3 times last night. (Nothing better on the tube) and I had absolutely no problem with anything he had to say.

Watched Kurt the other night on Total Access and didn't get what the OP did at all. Thought he did a pretty good job and did it pretty objectively. I do not get the "egomaniac" angle at all from him.

Kurt is a class act and the best Cardinal QB of all time. Any one who thinks DA will be able to duplicate what Kurt did the last couple of years is really drinking the kool aid.

I think DA will do fine as long as Beanie and Timmy run the ball more. If not, DA will not be able to put the offense on his back and carry them like Kurt did.

Just my opinion, could be wrong. We'll see in 16 games how it goes.

I loved the way Warner played on the field but his holy roller attitude sometimes rubbed me the wrong way. I feel the same way about family who are like that.

I feel the same way. Warner has always seemed holier than thou. For the most part, I hate what he says; love what he does. Love hate relationship for sure.

HOF ego, HOF player.

I've said it before, and I'll probably say it again. Kurt Warner's career has taught me that no matter what you do, and no matter how you conduct yourself, some people simply aren't going to like you and there's nothing you can do about it.

The man met a woman who had a toddler with SERIOUS special needs. He did not turn on his heels and say, "Thanks for the dance, honey" when she told him. He was enough of a grown-up to fall in love, marry her and adopt the little guy. And his sister.

He is a Man in my book. I'll always be thankful he was also my QB. Twice.
