Last season was his first subpar season. Before that I'd say his numbers are anything but average. Not to mention he's won 2 Super Bowls. Not too many "average" QB's have won 2 SB's.

Pretty average to me.
Robert Horry won 7 NBA championships. Doesn't make him HOF.

You left out 2 Super Bowl championships where he was MVP in both games. You hate Eli Manning. I get that but if you consider him simply an average QB you're letting your bias get in the way. I wish we had a QB as average as he's been.
Don't hate him, just don't think he's anything special.
Eli Manning is a weird case. He's Clark Kent in the regular season and then the playoffs start and he steps into a phone booth and changes into Superman.
well on the dark side- you add Warner's INT's and fumbles together and he is right up there with Terry Bradshaw in turnovers. Yes Warner belongs in the HOF for his top performances, and records, but he did bounce around a lot and was not consistent throughout his career.
He may not be a SB winner if the Titans wasn't 1 and 1/2 yards short. But they were! So I don't think Kurt is 1st ballot but he'll get in there eventually. Probably after Peyton and Eli Manning.
Oops i should've read the whole thread. Nice job clarifyingYou might want to check your facts. For starters, the Titans were 1 1/2 yards short so you can dispense with the 'what if's'. Also, even if they score, they tie the game at best but they did not so KW is a hall of famer. Look, I realize you toss off to Leinart but Warner is a hall of famer on a slam dunk. His numbers alone prove it.
