Correct me if I am wrong, but they seem to be more of the high maintenance variety, like sprains and the like more than getting the crap knocked out of him. The concern with him is that being small he could not take the hits or the weight of a pro guy landing on him but they really seem to be more of his own accord over extending himself. Yeah, he has been hurt but not really resulting from hits due to his size it seems

He said he originally hurt his shoulder from trying to run over a Dolphins safety for a 1st down late in the 4th. Falling on it awkward against the Seahawks made it worse.

Packers game he was caught from behind and his foot got stuck in the ground. I still contend we didnt need to run him there cause we were throwing so well, but it happens.

The injury didnt impact him at all. He just needs to finish stronger.

It doesn't really matter why a player gets injured, if they have recurring injury problems. If they aren't available or can't play well injured, that's all that matters. As it's been two out of three years for him, the trend is highly worrying.

I agree, I just found it funny that his injuries have not really been about his size receiving contact

That's because he avoids contact at all costs, even in playoff games.
His scared performance in the playoff game may very well have been the most embarrassing on-field thing I’ve seen from a Cardinal player in my lifetime. Bill Gramatica at least put effort into blowing his knee out. It was like a whole game of watching JJ Arrington lay down two yards short of the first down against the redskins.

Yes, that's what's funny about his actual injury concerns. He does not get hurt getting hit, he gets hurt while overdoing his agility where the body cannot handle the quick stop and go. This is the kind of guy you usually hear about blowing out his knee just running plays or sprints in training camp because his physical ability seems so damn high maintenance. Because he does not want to get hit, he hurts himself getting away, which is because of his size but not the size related injuries most would have thought

His shoulder injury was on a hit, his foot was clipped creating an awkward move and an ankle injury.
