Glad I was able to see that walk off. Great win. Nice to see them break the losing streak. Just stay above .500 and I'll be happy. Keeping the Dodgers below the Rockies will be a plus!

A walk-off home run is always the best way to win a game? If you have no strategy. And how many times does it happen?

What kind of a message does that send to the players? All or nothing! And we see where that has gotten us during this pennant race.

Disclaimer: I am reacting to a quote by the Diamondbacks figurehead. Mr. Lovullo has just put into words why we blew the lead.

Boo hiss! It is about more than "fifteen minutes".

LOL. They were divorced. And Sonny is dead.

Speaking of fifteen minutes, Cher did add fifteen minutes of excitement to "Mamma Mia - Here We Go Again".

It was a clever move to add a new touch to the sequel.

Aw, it's the rubber game. And our last home game. Two quick outs, then Greinke gives up three straight singles and it's 1-0 Dodgers. And another 20+ pitch 1st inning for a D-backs pitcher.

As Steve and BB pointed out, Grienke has his success pitching just outside the corners. And the Dodgers are on to him.

It doesn't help when the umps call balls strikes and strikes balls, then vice versa. But it's something the good pitchers handle.

The sooner MLB goes to the robo ump calling balls and strikes, the better. For everyone.

Dodgers get another in the 2nd. Then the D-backs with a HR, triple and double to start the bottom of the 2nd and the game is tied.

And one of our best hitters, Greinke, drives in the runner on 3rd with a single. D-backs lead 3-2.

Goldie comes up with the bases loaded and two outs and whiffs.

Man, that is hard to watch.
Goldy is like 1 for his last 12. Cold - hot - cold for the season. It is hard to watch, as you say.

We have to accept that, although he is not in the twilight of his career, his better days are behind him.

David Peralta is clearly our MVP this season.

Grienke is struggling. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. A long fly ball moved them there. Then an intentional walk. And they are left loaded.
