I was just going to post that the D-backs are up by a run, 2-1, in the top of the 5th ... but a solo HR has tied it up for the Dodgers. 97 pitches for Robbie.

With Goldy and Peralta, our 3 and 4 hitters, getting a "mental health" day (amazing!), Ketel Marte is batting third and is a double away from the cycle. He has driven all of our 3 runs, each in a different at-bat.

The D-backs are back up by a run 3-2 and Robbie Ray, who was pinch hit for, is the pitcher of record.

And Archie gets Kemp out, following the last two times they faced each other and Kemp dominated.

It's hitting the fan. It is now 6-3 Dodgers in the top of the 9th. Runners on 2nd & 3rd. No one out.

Now it's 7-3 and Yoshi has wild pitched two runners in from 3B this inning.

The D-backs are in a class of their own. Unfortunately, it's the remedial class. :(

AJ Pollock with a solo HR. Number 20. 'Looks better on his resume.

And the Dodgers win the opener 7-4. The D-backs are down to one game over .500.

I am so over this pathetic excuse of a baseball team. What an absolute gutless performance, this is a monumental collapse, players, coaches, GM all at fault here.

I am at the laughing stage... I mean, when you read stats like below, you just have to LOL:

This team was in first place on April 1st, May 1st, June 1st, July 1st, August 1st and September 1st.

This team leads the league (with no close second place) in First Inning Runs Scored.

This team leads the league (with no close second place) in Triples AND the least number of Triples given up.

Crazy...Funny...

Ronin, initially you used to post these and they had the batting averages on them? Did you stop posting because the BAs were so bad?

A Dodger solo HR early in Game 2. Then "Clutch" Peralta with a 2-out 2-run double in the 6th to give the D-backs a one run lead.

Then Bracho comes in to give up the tying run. How many years will it take Lovullo to learn that you do not bring Bracho into a close game?

But the D-backs have runners on 2B and 3B with one out in the 7th. Owings has some hits since coming back from the Minors.

Then Escobar gets an intentional walk to load the bases. And Vargas pinch hits a single to give the D-backs a 3-2 lead. Bases still loaded.

Jay hits a ground ball force out at home plate. And the red-hot Ketel Marte, with two outs and a 3-2 count, lines out to 3B to leave 'em loaded.
