Suns down 46-53 after the 2nd quarter. Suns shot 22% (5/23) in the 2nd quarter, Lakers 53%.

We are shooting the ball poorly. 39% is not going to get it done against the Lakers. We've only scored 15 points in the second quarter missing most of the jumpers. Doesn't help that we gave up 9 offensive rebounds, although that was offset by the Suns getting as many themselves.

The Suns aren't getting any good shots. Forcing it into Stoudemire is their only decent option, but the Lakers are adjusting. He came up empty on a few trips in a row to end the half.

If the Lakers could shoot free throws, they'd be ahead by double digits. The Suns need to get their offense on track to have a chance. Defensively they were okay.

It's funny because the blueprint to beat the Lakers is out there. It is to force Kobe to win the game singlehandedly. Cant remember if it was last season or the season before where the Lakers only won 3 games when he shot the ball 21 or more times
