Monday's @lockedonlakers.bsky.social podcast! JJ Redick says the Lakers need to "reconnect" on this road trip... immediately. How viable is this? Plus, Rui's knee is less than 100%, and Jordan Goodwin's contract situation. @LockedOnNetwork @LockedOnNBAPods

Shams Charania: The Lakers are waiving Cameron Reddish to create roster space for Goodwin, sources tell ESPN. Goodwin has grabbed at least one offensive rebound in 18 of his 19 games played, providing a spark for the Lakers off the bench. -via x.com / March 27, 2025
Chris Haynes: Los Angeles Lakers are converting Jordan Goodwin to a standard contract with the agreement of a two-year deal that includes a team option for the 2025-26 season, league sources tell me. -via x.com / March 27, 2025
A player on a two-way contract is ineligible for the playoffs. L.A. has until April 13, the last day of the regular season, to convert Goodwin or Jemison's contract to a standard NBA deal to have them available for the postseason. But the Lakers already have all 15 roster spots filled, so it would involve waiving a player to make it happen. Cam Reddish would be an obvious choice after falling out of the rotation, even with Rui Hachimura sitting out weeks because of a knee injury. He was already traded to the Charlotte Hornets this season before the Mark Williams deal was rescinded. -via ESPN / March 20, 2025
