Kobe explaining his new nickname: 'The mamba can strike with 99 percent accuracy at maximum speed, in rapid succession. That's the kind of basketball precision I want to have. Not being able to train the last two summers, I was in a gunfight with a rusty butter knife. I did my share of killing, but I was just fighting to survive."

Didn't see one of these for today...don't see how we stand a chance with the Black Mamba on the loose . Should be an exciting game as always...seems like the wins against the Lakers always mean a little more :D .

That reminds me of that Ritchie Valens song: "Para chingar la mamba..."

Suns are favored by 8 tonight, for obvious reasons.

I think the 'real Suns' will show up tonight. They probably saw the Lakers on TV yesterday, and they know they'll be on TV tonight. It's good to be at home, too.

I expect the Suns will jump on the Lakers early, let them back into the game, then pull away at the end. It would be nice if the bench is able to keep Steve Nash from playing fewer than 36 minutes.

I'm hoping for another big game from Barbosa. He's become one of my favorites. :)

Mmmmmm, Nash and Kurt's spacing is so weird so far. It seems like Kurt is so open and yet not so open.

How come I feel we are playing in slow motion tonight....

I think Lakers will get more tired soon. Kobe is already "walking" back.

As sad as it sounds, we are not even supposed to be down by 3 after House went on fire. The crowd was booing??? We weren't even blown out yet. What kind of attitude is that?

Hopefully we can grab the lead. This is pathetic.

It's a FOUL IF YOU STAND IN FRONT OF KOBE. That's the memo.

Oh my...that is sooooooooo funny.

Nash got stolen by Smush... Nash then tried to foul him to avoid fast break, Nash looked at the ref "I foul!!".... ref ignored Nash. Smush kept running, Marion jumped (didn't look he touched the ball), Smush missed... Laker rebounded and out of bound, Suns' ball. LOL

Damn, it gave me quite a scare towards the end when Kobe is hitting everything and we kept turning the ball over!!!

Great win guys. Kobe looked REALLY pissed. lol

Marion, House, Bell and Nash all played well. House gave us what we needed, scoring and Marion gave it all!! lol

Diaw did well towards the end too but he really needs to go up strong.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that was great. Nothing better than blowing out the Lakers.

Time for the obligatory trolling posts about how the Suns haven't won any titles. Bring 'em on.

Kobe never really got hot tonight, as much as the ESPN guys wanted him to. He'd make a couple, then toss up a brick, then make one, then brick.

Unless Kobe goes off odds are the Lakeshow don't have enough to get the job done, especially against a team like the Suns.

Its always fun to beat up on the Lakers . Tally up another one for Raja drawing the tech on Kome . Highlight of the game was Smush getting rejected by the rim. On another note...is it just me or does Phil Jackson always look high?
