Here is a tweet from Kent Somers, Arizona Republic, about the injury to Chris Paul.

Sports odds seem to be changing.

Not exactly.

Well that sucks that the site only goes back to 2017. I didn't see anything about his shoulder there and assumed it covered his career without looking at dates.

A stinger makes a lot of sense. If it was any sort of structural/serious damage to the shoulder he would have never come back in and would have been completely unable to use that shoulder.

I imagine they will do everything possible to make sure there are no lingering effects going forward.

Also how tough is Ayton for actually staying on the floor and playing through a similar type of injury a while back?

Overall Booker had a great game with 34 points and 7 rebounds to go with 8 assists.

However, if Devin Booker is forced to play more point guard because Paul is out or limited he will need to concentrate more on his passing. He had 6 turnovers.
If BC is reading this, it is taking everything he has to not post right now.

He missed 18 games with that injury.

He’s not going to miss playoff games unless he is just broken. Dude is a baller if it’s just hurting he will play thru it just like he did yesterday. He doesn’t have to shoot to be a floor general and play defense and be an aggressive dog and leader out there. This game was a blowout if the refs don’t let the Lakers go to the line all game to help keep it close! I mean seriously 19 fts for them before we ever get any? And in the first half we had lots of points in the paint so not like we weren’t taking inside, we just got no calls it was crazy blatant nonsense!

I'm not sure why. The Suns have two legitimate point guards although I'd like for BC to enjoy the season with us.

Booker is forced to pass because he has to create plays for other players when he is double teamed.

I dont understand how someone comes from the other side of the court, running, then makes physical contact by knocking Payne down, not get ejected.

It would seem like it but it seems to hinge on Payne getting two technical fouls and Harrell and Caruso only one each.

By Arizona Sports:

Payne was ejected as a result of the play after referees assessed him two technical fouls — presumably one for shoving Caruso and throwing the ball at him seconds later. He finished the night with five points, three rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes.

just more nonsense from the refs the Lakers pretty much instigated the whole situation. Caruso played physical all day and rarely was called for it. It was a one sided officiated game and the Suns still pulled it out! If this thing was called legit it would have been a double digit win if not a blowout. Can’t count how many time the Suns scored at the basket and should have been an and 1. Then they turn around and call ticky tack BS calls on Ayton and Book...

First, Caruso should have been called for a block on Payne, then all of this would have never happened.

Second Lebron should be called for a lane violation if they're going to enforce the 10 second rule on Giannis.

Did you notice when Leflop was down on the floor holding his arm, he notices he has no ones attention. LOL
Then CP3 pulls him up like, get up man you're not hurt.

I could be wrong but sure seems like they are being secretive about the injury a bit. It could just be gamesmanship which I hope it is. If he comes out unable to drive to his right again? The injury is likely more serious than they are letting on and may linger throughout this series. We are going to find out in game 2.

Suns have been a bit tight lipped for the most part on players injury status all season. I'm not sure what to think of it but if it were anything more serious i'm sure he would even been able to play. Nerve injuries are hit and miss, they can go away and be sore or linger for whatever reason.

then he walks over to where the “fight” was and by then its over everyone is split. Leflop takes a knee and can’t move again. Lol

That's what worries me. I have had a pinched nerve in my leg. You can't escape it. It impacted my ability to walk normally for a bit. Then after it healed the rest of my leg was sore because of how I was using it. You can't function normally with a pinched nerve. I just hope it's just a simple bruise but considering he didn't get hit in the shoulder and appears to be caused by the way he tweaked his neck? Seems like a pinched nerve.

The basketball Gods owe us for all the years of bad luck.
