Gay is a weak spot and we have some big LBs that are forced to cover quick receivers at times, but that's about it. Plus we get a lot of sacks.

The secondary cannot tackle, Peterson is the only CB worth a crap, Rhodes is inconsistent and ADub is on the downside of his career.

Yes, our pass defense is still horrible. The Rams are horrible too, so the comparison is not a good one.

#6 in sacks
#4 in opposing completion percentage
#4 in INTs
#2 in opposing QB rating

So... besides that we have one of the best passing defenses in the entire league... its still "horrible".

And thats despite having William Gay... who really is horrible. Peterson is an elite corner. Right now. Yes, he had a bad game against the Niners, but for the season he has been among the best in the entire league and he is virtually always covering the opponents best WR and doing so with no safety help.

Honestly surprised/impressed with lindley's accuracy outside of a few deep balls that were slightly overthrown. He's making all the short range and intermediate throws that Skelton loved to sail.

He is money over the middle.

Totally agree, we get nada if Andre catches that unless he scores

Offense is looking good...How come we are not blitzing more? Lindley looks great but he is also getting alot of time back there...all the injuries...but see the OL if they play right can do the job.

Every team in the league gets burned by a receiver now and then. And the "cannot stop the big play" idea does not hold water. If we cant defend the pass then no one in the league can.

Its far from terrible, in-fact, its one of the elite pass defenses in the entire league.

This so called horrible pass defense has only given up more than 2 TDs one time in 10 1/2 games.

Wilson is showing his age, but you are right, he can still play, just not at the level of a few years ago. As for Rhodes, he takes games off from tackling.
