Cards defense pooping again... just went offense is playing decent, defense craps. When defense plays great, offense completely craps out

I don't understand why the Cards are staying in the 2-4-5 with the Rams having Jackson to run the ball and Bradford at QB. Why wouldn't they want to stop Jackson and make Bradford beat them? That defense just sets out a welcome mat for opposing running games.
