Laraque hasn't been traded yet, but he has learned that he will not play another game for Phoenix. There are four teams supposedly looking at trading for Laraque, including Pittsburgh. One variation of a deal had Laraque and a 2nd round pick being traded to the Pens for a 1st round pick (in other words, the Coyotes move up about a dozen spots in the draft or so), but this has been refuted elsewhere.
According to Sportsnet, the Coyotes are also looking at moving Curtis Joseph, Owen Nolan, and Kevyn Adams before Tuesday's trade deadline.
