Rod Graves was on KTAR this morning: Graves said (about Larry) "We've made it clear to him we want to get something done." He also said he'd only been in camp a couple of days and they are, "Still in the process of getting an offer over to Larry's agent".

Graves went on to say that he "has dealt with Eugene Parker (Larry's agent) many times and you know there is always a fight on the other side of the curtain." He finished by saying "Larry wants to remain in Arizona and I think that is a goal that can be accomplished."

Quotes are fairly exact. I had to grab a pen and find a piece of paper.

Doug and Wolf just interviewed Rod Graves on KTAR: Graves said (about Larry) "We've made it clear to him we want to get something done." He also said he'd only been in camp a couple of days and they are, "Still in the process of getting an offer over to Larry's agent".

Parker: "You know...the bending over backwards and offering top WR money sounds nice and all but uh, I just don't know if I'm feeling it. Maybe if you can jump on one leg, while barking like a dog, I need to know you will do anything for Larry. Top WR money is a no brainer, especially for your team Mr. Graves, let's get real creative with the contract, give Fitz options to leave at the end of every year, let's give him bonuses up the wazoo, let's put (in the contract) that Fitz is consulted on more things. Food and alcohol venders should be ok'd by Larry, check in with Larry before any coaches get fired, player trades...ask Fitz. We think we are being very reasonable, and I"m going to need uh, let's say 50 suite seats for the season, yeah that should get us started."

Our ownership/front office has shown a commitment this offseason to building a successful team in the long-term and it definitely sounds like we aren't planning to go cheap in a contract offer... so I see no reason why this shouldn't happen. Hopefully, right?!

it has? it made some decent moves, but the majority of them were signing guys to one year deals, older vets and big question marks. they could have and should have done more, considering how much money they pocketed last year and how much money we still apparently have under the cap.
