What is it that you eat when drunk and hungry, or just need something..

I have these chicken enchiladas that are good right about now...

I love pot pies. The Marie Callender or Peppridge Farm joints! Just good enough to soak up all that alcohol.

Frozen White Castle Burgers...

or those little cheese and crackers things where you use a little red piece of plastic to spread the fake cheese. My mom used to pack those in my lunch.... these were the days where they used to not refrigerate our lunches and the mayo would go rancid but nobody died. Every item in my lunch would be melted but that cheese would still be in a solid state. Ahh, growing up in AZ

Cheese hoagies or pizza used to be my grub of choice in my late night, drunk state in Jersey. Now, I don't eat anything that late at night (unless I'm in Old Town and am stumbling by Slices).

You should look up Grazie pizza in Old Town Scottsdale. Not late night grub so much, but excellent pizza. (it is a wine bar as well for those who care)

I will second that...Grazies is great. I also like Cibo downtown which was opened by the original partners at Grazie. In addition to the wine and pizza being great...the owner typically has a knack for hiring tall, beautiful waitresses.

Huevos Rancheros is the best drunk/hungover food ever. I am on a mission to try the huevos rancheros from every single place that serves them. I don't know how I am doing, but I've had about 40 different versions. All good, some downright awesome.

When I lived in Greenpoint Brooklyn, I ate at the post 9/11 muslim owned bodega called "God Bless Deli-Grocery" that late night dude made the best burgers at 5am. I tried one during the day, not so good, so to test, I got hammered during the day, not so good. SO to test further, I ate one sober in the wee hours. DELICIOUS! That late nite guy was my hero. Now I live in Harlem, have a baby and go to bed at 9.30 every night. Late night grub for me is dinner at 7!

We dont have convenience chains here in NYC, though there are a few 7-11s popping up. We have dozens and dozens of little family run "grocery" stores, that usually have a griddle and make ham egg and cheese sammies for brekkie. We get our beer there, use the ATM, get drunk food and boars head sandwiches. Thats a bodega.

Love these places in NYC. You walk in and have huge bars of salad, hot food, etc and then have the deli counter, where someguy has whipped up some fantastic sandwiches or paninis.
