From Adrian Wojnarowski:

As part of a three-team deal nearing completion: Ariza to the Wizards, Kelly Oubre to the Memphis Grizzlies and Austin Rivers and two Grizzlies role players to Suns, league sources tell ESPN.

James Jones needs to be fired immediately, and a remotely competent GM brought in before it gets even worse.

Why didn't we just take Oubre, who at least is an NBA caliber player, unlike Rivers and the Grizzlies leftovers???

Bump...

This thread turned into comedy gold.

I like Oubre AND Rivers this gives us some depth at least. Ariza can go to washington which is already a disaster

Do we have any Los Angeles locals or other Clippers watchers here that can tell us more about Rivers?
His stats over the last two years in LA actually look pretty good. Does anyone have more insight?
I do know that Rivers' favorite teammate and mentor has always been Jamal Crawford.

Here is what I do know. Rivers started 59 games for a playoff team. He might not be the ideal player, but Melton and Okobo would not start 59 games for a playoff team any place anywere, at least not at this point in their careers.

Am I the only one that has a problem with Colonel Sanders dancing around with Aunt Jemima?

Not every old white dude was a racist/plantation owner so no I didn’t get that vibe personally. Maybe Mrs Buttersworth was offended...

Is he dancing with Mrs. Buttersworth? That’s even worse.

Reminds me of chicken and waffles. I think I am going to get some lunch.

I'm wondering you eat eat this. It seems to be the new thing. Do you put syrup on the chicken and waffles?

Nope. It's every bit as creepy as you've suggested. It's "Driving Miss Daisy Meets Dirty Dancing" creepy.

It's not new. It's been around for a long time. New to KFC though. I personally only put syrup on my waffles.

I had the pleasure of eating at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles a year ago. Yummy!

Between Roscoe's and Glady's Knight's, anyone who lives in LA or Atlanta has known about this for decades. I was against the syrup on both at first, but once I took the plunge, i stayed swimming in a sea of syrup, friend chicken and waffles.

I might have to branch out with the syrup. I was a first timer a year ago.

What a funny thread this turned into. Thanks, guys. :)

Chicken and waffles. Doesn't that describe Sarver and Jones?

One is "afraid" to hire qualified executives who might tell him to back off.

And the other is involved in deals that are "on" (informing the players involved) then "off".
