Keim just won executive of the year... safe to say we won't be taking a TE in the first round... ;)

Seeing as how we've never lost a game due to being unable to stop another teams TE, I think we can all agree that it's a waste of a position.

Don`t Cards TE`s need to be able to block? So that leaves out Ebron,ASJ,Amaro .Maybe Niklas and Feiderowicz are available options in round 2 or 3

I'd LOVE to see Niklas in Rd2, but I think we may have to move up in rd 2 or back from #20 to get him. If I had my way, we'd move back from 20 to around 40 and pick up an extra rd3 in the process. I think we could grab Niklas (TE) & D.Buchannon (SS) in rd2 and still have two rd3 picks to work with.

Dont like trade back.especially losing a good player.cause first rounder has a high chance to be an above avarage player and obviously a starter

They usually get someone who shouldn't have fallen that far. Someone like Ebron or Dennard. If not they mtl just take the best OL at that spot.

If they really like someone like Seferian-Jenkins, they could trade down and take him with their first pick instead of trying to judge when and with who they can trade up with to get him. They could wind up with another (late) 2nd rounder then.

Sitting at 20 I'm all about trading back. 1st rounders work out about 50% of the time.
2nd rounders aren't actually that far behind.

The more picks you have the more chances you have of getting a player that will make your team better. SK traded back a couple of times last draft and the extra picks netted us Watford, Okafor, Juke and Swope. Well technically 2 of these player but the point is even though Swope was a miss Juke was a home run. Let's see how Watford and Okafor turn out but I would bet one of them is starting in a year or two.

Billecheat has been doing this for years. Now if Barr or Mathews or Mack drop to our 20 slot then stay put and take the gift. Point is they have to love who they take at 20 or should move back.

Now this is where Jeff Gollin (haven't seen him post in awhile so I hope he's okay) would explain about having 5 or so guys rated about the same and so you should only move back at most 4 spots.

He took a guard in the top 10 in his first draft.

If he wants a tight end at 20 -- HE CANT BE STOPPED

Yeah, those stupid Steelers were idiots taking Heath Miller in the first round. Oh wait...
