Nicely done, Matt. Good job!

I have to admit a soft spot for players, and people, who do these kinds of things. And my "USC-Rules!" friends are going to LOVE this.

:(

As much as this is a great thing and Kudos are much deserved I wish he was more like Kurt ON the field rather then OFF the field.

But good job Matt. I am pulling for you and I hope you one day prove all the doubters wrong. And hopefully its in a Cardinal uniform.

Nice to see Matty getting acknowledged for all the stuff he NEVER makes a big deal out of.

i still remember the day we drafted matt i was so enthused i thought surely he was our QBOF
and the first series i saw him play in i think it was dennys last year , might have been preseason too can't remember
but he threw a beautiful 50 yard bomb to Q
and it brought a ttear to my eye here i thought here is what we been waiting for a field general with good pocket presence a decent arm and intangible something that comes from being a winner

my how times have changed .still hope he works out but time has given me a much different perspective on old number 7
even bought his damn jersey

Not to mention all the keggers he hosts for ASU co-eds!

:D jus' kiddin'. Props to Leinart.

On the football front, I wonder if Leinart is the type that has to know that he is the go to guy for him to be motivated or in the right frame of mind to perform well?

If I am not mistaken, Leinart was always that guy; high school, college, even with the Cardinals; that is until the mantle was given to Warner. It's the only explaination that correlates with Leinart seemingly performing better as a rookie than he is now.

Im not excusing Leinart from his poor play, but it is psychologically impairing to have a HoF QB in front of you or breathing down your neck. Leinart has never been on an NFL team where he was the best QB.

Could he play better if Warner retired next season? Quite possibly. But there is only one way to find out and it may not be worth the risk.....

Trust me; I want Matty to succeed more than anyone, but with his recent performance, his stock is very low.

All I know is this, we will all see come draft day this next offseason if the staff believes Leinart is the man!!! If they draft a QB in the 1-3 range that tells us all we need to know.

This definitely helps take the sting off of the outrageous cash he has received for failed mop-up/clipboard duty :)

Take Elway for example. Has anyone emerged from his long shadow yet?

Obviously since it came out of your bank account I can see why you would continue to bring it up over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.

And obviously since you are Matt himself... or a Bidwill, I can see why it irks you so much.

I brought up his charity work taking the sting off of what a failure he has been thus far, ONE time thank you very much. :mulli:
