If he gets the starter's nod our first game with the 'hags will be pretty awesome. I hate to say it but he will have his chance to feed Whiz some crow. If that happens the post game press conference should be interesting.

Great now we got posters with so much allegiance to Leinart they want him to pound us so we can have an interesting post game press conference. :mulli:

Maybe they can figure out a way to get Reggie Bush. That team could probably win the PAC-12...

No hate towards Matt. Hope he does well (except twice a year).

Nah, no Leinart allegiance here, other than he was better than anyone we put on the field last year IMO. It's more of a WTH Whiz hangover from last year. It just seems like the stage could be set for the drama that networks love. :mulli:

I can invision Leinart coming back to haunt us & kicking our ass. I still believe he has the talent to be a very good player in this league...now he has the motivation to prove to the Cards faces he can. I think Wiz & his 2 shoulder injuries took away his mojo and swagger he displayed at SC. Cross your fingers it doesnt happen. :bang:

IMO this kid didn't forget how to play the NFL game after his rookie year in which he was pretty good, considering he was a rook!!!

It is amazing how many people just hate Leinart for no reason. People act like he is a d*ck like Cutler or something, the guy didn't even take swipes at the organization while he was here or after he left...he didn't work out here, so be it--I think it was part bad chemistry with the staff and poor fit to the offense more than it was ability.

It will be an interesting competition in Seattle, IMO he is better than Whitehurst but I think people forget Tavaris Jackson had a pretty good season in 2008...9 TDs 2 Ints, 95 QB rating and then the Favre debacle derailed any development he may have had.

From the strange but true "Irony" files:

Matt Leinart originally held out as a rookie because the Cardinals wanted a longer, 6 year deal. Leinart and his agent were holding out for 5 years.

Matt Leinart became the 4th consecutive Cardinal QB taken in the first round of the regular draft to never start a full season for the franchise.

What a list of names: Pisarkiwiez, Stouffer, Leinart & some guy named Namath :D

We should just pick 1 in the 1st Rd every year until we get it right...our odds have to increase for success...right?

Cold Coffee is cool, Sorry guys My family settled Arizona in the early 70's, 1870's So I aint going nowhere.

I don't want to be salt in the wound, like we need any. We have monkeys flying out our AZ in the wizard of AZ. I wish he would come out and commit to run the ball.

I wish Lyle and Deuce were signed yesterday. We have 15 FA's and bringing in an army of UFA's for the 6th year in a row. And other teams don't value our Mike Adams, Max Hall, WR's Williams, Komar.

I am not embarrassed for saying I'm not satisfied with the Cardinals hastened fall from glory, I would be embarrassed if I was happy with it.

I'm in support of My Cardinals, but I aint got rainbows shooting out my AZ, I have Monkeys! And I seen the Wizard behind the curtain. He handed us a medal a heart and a diploma.

He could change the tone/culture. I can't.

Foller the yeller brck road, foller the yeller brick road. There is no place like home, click click, there is no place like home, click click, come on Toto lets go home!

nope

I wish, I had that excuse but know I'm sober over 16 years. I just can't believe the Cardinals did this. We had a plan went to a SB had an heir in place, destroyed his confidence on purpose, cut him at the last preseason game. Aborted the plan and kept 3-4 scrub QB's and ran Beanie 116 times, after breaking beanie late in the last preseason game, for no good reason!

WHIZ folded, blamed the players, that is how He responded.

WE are getting worse not better, and that makes me crazy.

I'm going to laugh like crazy if he goes to Seattle. There is no way he beats out TJack or Whitehurst for that starting job.

According to profootballtalk, Leinart is apparently headed to Seattle but Washington has interest in him too.

Maybe others? Seems like he'd jump at the chance to go to Seattle considering that Carroll and his old OC are both there and the level of competition is pretty low but if he's getting multiple offers? Maybe some other team is offering him a better chance to start or more money?
