I really cant say if any of them were with a new coach. But I do know that Dan Marino and Bret Favre were both in there first year of their new offense on as a rook and one in his 2nd year when they both performed at a VERY high level in new systems and new environments. Neither one of them were billed as the most NFL ready QB's coming out either.
Marino was the best ever, i am not gonna get upset over matt not being up to par with Dan, but remember Brett's second year in GB was that great. IIRC, he threw like 25 picks.

I am not going to look up either. But did you expect Leinart to be like, arguably two of the best QB's ever? Wasn't Miami a playoff team before Marino got there?

You suck anyways, nutpumper.

:)

You asked for examples and I gave them. Now you are adding more variables. MAKE UP YOUR MIND NUTPRIMPER!

Those two were bogus Officer Grumpitons. Favre had 25 picks. Marino was with the Dolphins who definitely were NOT the Cardinals under Denny Green/Whis.

Next.

This thread has become as fun as Nidan's thread about the definition of the word "theory."

This whole thing is getting so old, so quickly.

Matt Leinart played in LA, for a national championship team. He is handsome. His is friends with actors and musicians. He banged hotel heiresses. As such, he is always going to be overly-scrutinized and have the spotlight on him.

He has no more distractions than any other NFL player; the media just reports on every, single one of his distractions because it sells papers, gets viewers, keeps the talking heads employed, etc. Get used to it.

Travis Henry has 9 kids by 9 women and it was never mentioned before last month. It wasnt mentioned because middle-america, suburban housewives, Gen-Y chicks in the dorm and my Mom dont care about Travis Henry. They want to hear about "Hollywood" Leinart.

The sooner we as Cardinals fans start to ignore the media's incesent reporting on Leinart, the sooner we can all correctly judge him for what he does (and doesnt do) on the field.
Totally agree, stop feeding the dumbness, he has not been in the show long enough to be labeled at all. Give him some time.
