the qb whisper. The offensive genius. He said he could develop Rosen. He has said he loves Murray. Let’s give him both. It’s crazy to eat 8 m in cap space and it’s crazy to pass on such an exciting player like Murray. A few has mentioned this in the past and at first I thought it was crazy. So we cut Glennon. That saves money. We load up on offense through free agency and the draft. I mean LOAD UP! We give Kliff everything he needs to make this offense a juggernaut. We may lose 48-45 but it will be better than what we witnessed last year. This is not a one year plan. If both QBs excel it will be a great problem and some prime assets to deal with next year. It will cost us Bosa but I’m not liking the fact him saying he’d like to play with his hand in the dirt in a 4-3 defense. We cant fix both sides of the ball in one year. But we can make SURE we fix the offense.

Last time Kliff had a QB controversy, it did not end pretty with the Mayfield fiasco. Cards front office should do everything they can to build the best team. Maybe that means trading down. Let's see if they can draw enough interest in the #1 pick to do that.

it could happen temporarily. I’m not saying we are , we should or we won’t draft Murray. But if we did and KK can make Rosen look very good in camp and preseason we could parlay that into something with just one QB going down before the season or next season. Think of Steve Walsh, Kolb, Cassell, Garoppolo and Foles. What if Rosen is the starter and Murray is groomed for a year ala MaHomes? Round and round she goes, where it stops nobody knows!?!

I could be wrong but if we draft Murray, I am almost positive Rosen would either publicly demand a trade and refuse to report, or would show up dog it and bad mouth the team whenever he gets the chance.

I have no proof he would act this way - but this is the way I read the guys personality. I really don't think it would work to keep both.

We won't be losing 48-45 under that scenario, this is the NFL not the B12. The NFL in general plays good D and the most explosive offenses in the league will avg around 30 pts a game and good offenses avg around 24 to 26. In this league great O and terrible D is not a winning formula. If you D is crap you give up a ton of points and time and number of possessions for your great offense is diminished. Each team on avg has 12 possessions per game. To score 48 you need 6 TDs and 2 FG... That type of output is a rarity in the NFL even for the best clubs.

Kliff wanted an open competition for the bowl game, which was very fair based on performance by the guys up to that point. Mayfield threw a tantrum and quit. Then it turned into an ugly media mess over the next few years.

Rosen got paid a $10m signing bonus to struggle on the field in 2018. Pretty good deal for him.
