Ok guys I know what is happening and I am so sorry. For the first 3 years of Kylers career with us I didn’t think he was totally invested and then just before our playoff loss I bought a Murray jersey… so I truly f’ed up here. Shall I burn it to release us of this curse?

Weird. People are also different. Kids are also different and breaking the mold. Personally while I see this as a detriment short term...I see it positive over the long term. Kyler was never going to be what you wanted him to be...so suck it up....even as a franchise. See, bias. ;)

But honestly, the days of QBs bending a knee and changing who they are is becoming a thing of the past IMO. While it sucks for fans...I applaud it for the individual.

Leadership and selflessness are prerequisites for an NFL QB.

There's no positive side to not possessing those qualities.

1: 75/109 68.8% comp 4 tds to 2 ints, and three wins over the #1 seed and the best QB in the NFL is hardly "lucky".

2: The Bengals having a ton more talent is laughable. It may be arguable, but the Cardinals have the glaring advantage along the OL and TE. RB is a push between Mixon/Perine vs Edmonds/Conner. Bengals have an obvious advantage at WR without Hopkins.
You are on drugs if you think there is much of any difference in even the Oline and TE. Ertz is in his twilight years, CJ is more athletic and no slouch. Mixon is an absolute stud - there a reason he got paid while Conner/Edmonds did not. This propping up AZs supporting cast has gotten out of control w the IHKC. I see why this board is so dominated by this crew - it’s gotten so ridiculous it isn’t even worth the fight

So Kyler has zero leadership or selflessness?... Playing QB is something that entails many different "qualities". I will refrain from putting someone into a nice tiddy box of expectation. Keim is my only exception...lol. :p

Behave. Uzomah didn't even have 500 yards.

Mixon averaged like 4.1 yards per carry. He is the best back of the 4 but Conner and Edmonds are the better pair. GThe teams used their RBs differently.

The Ertz vs Uzomah comment just shows that the board is better off with you having only like 250 total posts. It is a stupid and disingenuous at best comment.

I like Ertz. He played well with Kyler and he likes him.

The Eagles got much better once they were able to rely on Goedert more. Helped with the run game more and a far more explosive player.

However, its not his fault Hopkins got hurt. Ertz would have been great for the role he was in.

Behave. Uzomah didn't even have 500 yards.
TBF he is clearly the 4th option in the pass game. 30 YPG from Uzomah is about what Ertz was getting in Philly (31 YPG). Maxx Williams was at 38YPG before injury. Ertz production here sort of got spiked because Hopkins was out.

The Cardinals have the longest championship drought in sports, none since 1947, and people still want to blame the young talented QB instead of the incompetent franchise.

Kyler didn't choose to be saddled by a losing college coach. Does anybody know what Kliff's game plan was, going into the Rams game? Because it sure seemed the same as every week, stand on the sideline, sweating, nervous, calling plays and praying that Kyler can create some magic. Kyler didn't choose for Keim to draft bust after bust (in fact he TOLD Keim who to draft, was ignored, and now the players he wanted are pro bowlers while Keim's guys can't get on the field).

Nothing will change until those two are gone. Unfortunately, we can't control the ownership.

If these reports are true, I'm not sure things get better.

BY ARIZONA SPORTS:

Garafolo reports that the Cardinals are looking for Murray to take steps in his leadership and maturity, including sideline body-language.

He gave one example: Murray didn’t want to finish the Wild Card game against the Rams while the game was in its winding moments, despite backup quarterback Colt McCoy urging him to re-enter. McCoy finished the game by handing the ball off twice to Eno Benjamin to end the loss.

Normally, I’d say that Kyler could ignore this and move on, but this thing is out of control. He needs to come out of hiding and speak

I am extraordinarily disappointed in him. This franchise did everything for this kid. He likely would have fallen into the teens if the Cardinals hadn’t drafted him. The least he could do is say something. That being said, Keim created this climate.

I don’t trust old ass Chris Mortenson. The dude needs to retire already.

How can you tweet something like that, then follow up with this..

I think its obvious whats going on.

Cardinals feel like Kyler needs to be a better leader to overcome adversity and the Cards problems. Kyler feels like we drafted better we wouldnt have as much adversity or they might have a better chance of overcoming it. Both can be true and both at fault. The painting of his leadership or lack thereof in order to not give him a contract extension yet. Yet, he can argue he's the only real hit for Keim that wasnt a trade.

Just read this post and you can see how someone can overlook their own faults.
I’m very thankful of Keim of:

- Drafting back-to-back ILBs in the first round. Top 20 at that.

- Signing a broken down HOFer to a bigger deal than expected.

- Letting go of our best pass-rusher from 2020 for chump-change.

- Signing a broken down WR to a surprising deal.

- Failing to draft OL in the first & second round for multiple years.

- Failing to draft DL in the first & second round for multiple years.

I’m not defending Kyler because Kyler does need to get his head out his ass & refusing to put blame on him is insane.

However, I can easily see this board having this same conversation years from now with a different QB, but with the same GM. Not putting damn near all of the blame on insane. It makes sense why former players threw shade at the organization & will probably continue to do so as long as the GM is in charge. Bad drafts, losing records, & awful FA signings all were here for years before the new regime showed up. He better thank the Lord that BoB as a GM was a jackass.

Bidwill is even a bigger jackass cause he’s the one keeping the younger jackass in charge.

Kyler still has to grow up. I shared something with @Vacard last summer that was concerning. I look at it like LeBron in Cleveland the 1st go round. He didnt realize where he had to grow and improve as long as he could blame the Cavs poor front office. Once in Miami the excuses had to stop. He had to be better as well. As long as Keim is around Im not sure Kyler will have that realization.

I'm about to put my Kyler jersey on ice for a while too. Might invest in a Budda Baker jersey at this point.

I haven't been able to read this entire thread but it's not very encouraging. My ups and downs with this kid are probably the worst I've ever had in my 33 years of fandom.

The second tweet above appears to be what the Cardinals are doing in this tweet from ProFootballTalk.

Instead of all 'about that bass'.....it's now, all 'about those clicks and retweets'.

Clearly made this known in this exact thread multiple times.

The comp to LeBron is laughable. LeBron actually legit had mostly garbage around him in first stint with the Cavs. Outside of like 1 playoff series that 1st stint, he shouldn’t have gotten any blame at all. Only thing he needed to realize is that he needed to get the hell out of there.

Nah. Its hyperoblic (cause its LeBron), but not laughable.

He still had flaws in his game that caught up with him in the Mavs series. Even the best player in the sport needed to mature and find ways to improve. He never worked on a post game or figured out how to score enough without the ball during that time.

There is not a single human being who passes through this giant ball of mud and rock without suffering from selfishness, self-pity and blaming others at least some point in their life. Not even Mother Theresa pulled that off. Some people realize that about themselves and become better people. Many, many others never have that insight and are permanent ********.

We will see. It's really tough for professional athletes to get a little humbleness and become part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Murray will grow up, or he won't.
